This pickup was a nightmare. The place was an abandoned store and just seemed sketchy. My reservation began at 9am. We got there at 8:50. I began using the 24/7 Check-in and it just kept saying “awaiting approval†although I had already uploaded my drivers license earlier in the week per another U-Haul email and added another contact per the reservation process - not sure why I needed to do this again. I am waiting and waiting and my phone still says “awaiting approvalâ€. I then call customer support to see if they can help speed things along- bad idea. It took me being on hold 35 minutes and “awaiting approval†for 45 minutes. Cut 45 minutes into my reservation and messed the whole morning up time-wise due to this nonsense.
