This place was very fun down and out of the way. The truck was way overpriced, And then I was charged for extra mileage on top of that, so the computer miscalculated or someone lied about the trucks odometer reading before I got it. The truck got about 8 mpg on average, so be prepared to invest a ridiculous amount of money in gas.

Excellent service. Turn in was a breeze. The receiving office was able to assist me in picking up my truck from the Huber Height Office when the Huber Heights Office was unwilling/unable to assist.

I had problems getting through the website ordering process so called the 800 # to place my request. The customer service rep was very helpful. Service at the pickup site was exceptional. Would recommend a double check on availability of accessories. I requested an appliance dolly when I placed the order but the local dealer did not have one available when I got there.
Seemed to take along time to check out , when all the information was provided on the Uhaul site. Getting equipment was just like walking in off the street and starting from scratch.

Have more people at this location that know how to rent trucks out, and check them back in. No one was available to check the truck in when I returned it to the store. So I waited, and wait. They tried to get a hold of someone, and then ask me to come back at 7:00pm, and I live 12 miles from the store for a total of 24 miles.
Ok with how it was
My only issue was that I had to drive 20 miles to pick up the truck and 20 miles back to return it at $.79 a mile. Hillsboro needs to have other locations IN TOWN where you can rent U-Haul's. There is a place by right aid in town but no one is ever there to let you rent a truck.
I filled the u haul way past the level of gas that I got it. And didn't get any returned credit for the extra gas I put in.
This was our first time here and everything was excellent! Very friendly and helpful staff.. Had us out and on our way fast!

ordered the truck &12 moving blankets online the night before ,didn't check before I left,thinking they would of been stocked the night before got to location to find out there was none added in the truck.Had to borrow some from people I bought furniture from to have to take them back when finished wasting gas & time, if someone would of took the time to look and add them.
The people at the pick up location were super nice. I had a different location picked though so I had called the 1-800 number to see if I could get it for a cheaper price the guy not only got an attitude with me but didn't even take ten dollars off of the price as he promised. Because of his nasty attitude I will more then likely never rent a uhaul again. I feel like someone who answers the phone for a customer service number should be nice. Not rude.
The location I picked the equipment up from was great. However, due to Uhaul updating the computer system, it took me over an hour to get set up with the equipment.
First time I have reserved online for U-Haul. Online experience was fine. Was lead to believe I would receive a phone call the night before the reservation to spell out rental details and schedule a pick-up time. That didn't happen. I found out later that I did receive an email for a noon pick-up but that doesn't help me when I have no internet and was expecting a phone call. The night before the reservation, I went to the old address in preparation to the move. I went to Louie's Sonoco, but no 20' truck. Even more troubling, clerk told me supposed to be closed Wed, the 10th. I scrambled through local phonebook for a U-Haul number as I have no internet. Fortunately, number I found was a link to U-Haul 800. Guy on the other end of the line was good. He quickly figured where my 20' truck was (4 miles away at 6941 St Rt 753, otherwise known as Joey's to locals). Called Joey's and negotiated a 9am pickup. Pick-up went fine Wed morning except this: why can't they start the sign in procedure before the actual acquired time (9am)? That's taking time away from my rental time. Clerk said I was allotted 92 miles. No mention of a charge if you surpass the mileage. I drove straight to the old house (4 miles), and loaded up the truck. I drove straight to the new house. Its 90 miles from the old house to the new house so, I've already surpassed the mileage allotment. The next morning I drove straight to the drop off point at Brookville Rental (7miles). I didn't deviate from the agreed course to deliver and return the truck. I don't believe I should have been charged ($4.72) extra for 10 or 12 miles beyond U-Haul's mileage estimate. Truck was just what we needed our belongings and it performed as expected.
We needed a truck on short notice and got one. The entire process for reserving the truck, to using it, and returning it went perfectly!
I have not received a call from customer service. My experience was terrible and i Weill never rent from uhual again. I'm still waiting for the customer action report person to call me. It has been days. Mr. & Mrs. Price. 937-403-2208.
