Have a driver come with the truck. It is annoying hiring drivers through a seperate company that is not u haul for a u haul truck. The truck was in good shape.

They were not there and they do not answer their phone. They over charged us for gas as well. The Uhaul was not received on full.

The vehicle was not clean and had issues. The wipers needed to be replaced and both front tire were badly worn and one was out of balance. Also, my reservation experience was less than stellar. I made an online reservation at at uhaul center and was able to select a 15 foot truck but was told their only 15 foot truck was not allowed to go one way. I was sent and 30 mins away to a retailer that seemed annoyed we were there. After i got the truck and started toward my destination, i was called by the uhaul center I originally tried to get the vehicle advising me that they had my 15 foot truck. From a customer service stand point - NOT GOOD!

The hours at this location for a Saturday are ridiculous. I was charged $12.75 on this ticket for gas. Why, because no one was there to verify at the time where 'they' thought the gas gauge was reading. I received it at less than 1/2, but they 'they' showed it at 1/2 on the ticket, then 'they' again show it at less than half where I returned. I drove the truck 40 miles and put in 4.55 gallons of gas at the Sam's club less than a mile from the location right before returning it. To be charged for gas at a ridiculous rate, and without being afforded the opportunity to have discussion is wrong.

Worst experience I have had in truck rentals of 74 years. Overbilled and Wells Fargo notified us to cancel credit card because bill showed a shoe company and different location I had never dealt with. Had to get new credit card and spend numerous trip to U-Haul facility where trucks was rented only to be told after they had entered in error they couldn’t change it. It has taken me at least 8 plus phone calls to try and straighten out the bill which after talking to Wells Fargo today told them to send U-Haul the amount due finally. I have used U-Haul twice doing this move from Huntsville Al to Atlanta Ga and have two large storage facilities with about 10000 lbs of furniture to be moved out starting Sept and after this not sure U-Haul will be getting my business. Was told when I disputed the overcharge that a representative would be contacting me within 72 hours didn’t happen. Corporate at the top needs to do a complete audit of there system and make it function properly instead of allowing anyone with half a brain to be one of there rental stations.

When I sat down to start paper work the young man had a key to the truck and I asked about the millage of the truck and he stated that it was over 100,000 miles and I asked if he had one with less miles. He then checked and found one with very few miles and this was ok. They apparently did not check the engine compartment and liquid levels when I left Huntsville the next morning I attempted to use the window washer and the tank was empty. Other than this issue every think was OK with the truck.

I was very disappointed with u-haul. I wasn’t told that the vehicle wouldn’t go over 70 mph, and that there wasn’t cruise control on the vehicle. Which really makes it difficult and unsafe when u are driving it 700 miles. Also insurance was put on it and when I brought it up at the counter I was told I needed to call U-Haul. Which I have 4 times( which u are on hold for 30 plus min waiting to talk to someone) and even requested to talk to the regional manager twice which I have never heard from!! I wouldn’t recommend U-Haul to anyone due to these issues and poor customer service. If u would like to resolve this u can call me at 402-210-3391
