The owner was extremely helpful with some problems I encountered with a Cargo Van rental. The Office location is very warm and friendly, and it was nice to not have to deal with the hustle and bustle of what I call a traditional Uhaul location. Much more of a "Mom & Pop" vibe, which I appreciate and support. Also, thanks to the Uhaul Scheduling Manager, Leiane, for the help as well. Strong work all around.

Many issues with this rental - 1. The milage out was captured correctly. I was charged for 40 extra miles that I did not drive. 2. The condition of the van was very poor. It was very dirty. Tires had low pressure. Seat belt was not working properly. There was hook on the Van floor that damaged our couch.. All in all, very badly maintained vehicle. 3. After calling to get the extra charges issue resolved, I kept getting transferred to different persons. After talking to 5 different persons and calling 3 times, someone took down my concern.

The story is I first went to your location on Obama blvd in los angeles where your store manage recieved 3 personal calls during my visit. There was a problem with the truck rental and die to her paying more attention to her personal life than me getting my truck she couldnt fix the proble. I was also told by a customer that if I got in front of het ( which I already was but was waiting on the side) that she was going to spit on me. No employee said anything to her. I believe this is a racial threat and your store did nothing. I left and went to the office where I was treated extreemly well. They were kind and helpful. But put the wrong time on my paper so I called the uhaul phone number and was told 3 different things one I would be bill e.g. d an extra $51 2 unsecured the truck for 4 hours and on the paper work it says 5. The gentleman on the phone that quoted the $51 never sent a copy of the transcript .I dontbkbow who is lying or who is telling the truth. I will never use this company again. And I just started a business where I need trucks quote often. Your company is thoughtless. I should have filed police charges at the obama location. I just didnt have time unlike your business I care about mine and the customer recieving there service in a timely manner. Discussed customer I will tell all my friends, clients and family yuh about my recent experience with uhaul

I am so disappointment. I turned in all the vehicle the same day and now I am getting other charged on my card and being charged another $130 for additional days of use. So useless. I just don't understand why this store is so unorganized. Now I have to deal with the horrible phone customer service to try and resolve this.

I use it less than 3 hours for 3 miles And I put the gas as I take it But u guys charge me 2 times !!

Luckily the location had a heavy duty dolly available because there was none in the truck as had been promised. The contract we received did not specify the amount of gas in the tank which was only 2/3 full so we were apprehensive about whether we would be charged for not filling the tank. We overfilled it to 3/4 but then got charged 40 cents for each extra mile we drove since the one way charge is based on location to location and does not factor in that the truck needs to go pick up stuff and then drop off. We probably would have been better off renting a truck locally and then returning it to that location which was an option we had explored. Though the truck was clean, it drove as if it had not had a tune up in quite awhile. There were 70,000 miles on it and maybe uHaul was trying to get more mileage on it. The personnel at the location we picked it up were very courteous and made pick up fairly easy.

My Sunday rental was to be unlocked with the key under the seat. It was locked and the office was closed. We had to scramble to get a truck. Found one at rodeo Facility. Very frustrating and stressful.

Returned the van on a Sunday as agreed and did as instructed - park the car in the back of the location and put the key in the slot. We have been charged for extra days even though we returned the vehicle on Sunday. Wish they could have given us better instructions on how to return the vehicle and avoid being charged for extra days

I have received the worst customer service ever. The U hall was dirty and there were lots of broken glasses . She didn't send me the contract. When I asked her about my invoice and insurance paper, she treated me very disrespectful and was not polite to me. Since Friday evening till Monday afternoon I haven't received any document that shows my contract.

The location charged me for 2 days even though I returned the vehicle on the same day. Additionally, I had filled the gas up to the level at which I rented it and charged me for that as well. I did not get the vehicle I had requested online. Disappointed in this rental experience.

The lady I met at the return location stated that they were closed and that they are usually not open on Sundays. When I asked her to sign my receipt from the other location for proof of receipt she gave me the keys back and told me to just put them through the slot. I called today around 3pm to make sure they processed my return and they hadn't. I expressed my concern that they were going to charge me for an extra day and they assured me they wouldn't but ended up doing so. Needles to day, I'm very unsatisfied with my overall experience with u haul.
