Car tie down ratchet straps were inserted backwards by the previous user. Staff should have corrected this prior to re-issuing. This caused me a delay in using it. To be fair, I should have checked the straps myself prior to accepting the trailer also. Primary failure is on U-Haul staff, secondary on me.
