The staff member was not upfront about pricing and was extremely rude when we asked why we were charged for two days, even though we returned the truck before the rental window closed. We were told it was a 24-hour rental, yet he said it had to be returned by 4 a.m., even though we picked it up at 11:15. The only guidance he offered was to call the customer service number. The lack of communication made this experience a nightmare. When we first arrived, he asked how many miles we needed we said 15 but later we found out he had put down 50, which we only discovered when we questioned why the hold was $80. Additionally, the truck was extremely dirty, and dealing with such poor customer service made the entire experience frustrating and disappointing.

There were a lot of technical problems with U-Haul today which made this rental very difficult. I even had to drive to another U-Haul location in order to get my additional driver license approved and then drive all the way back. Then later, so many problems with the website and app. Moving is already very tiring and frustrating and this made it much worse.

Kemar WThe app had issues with submitting pictures when I picked the truck up. It didn’t register the pictures. That was frustrating for five minutes.
NILS PLocation is a gas station first, U-haul is not thier priority.
