When renting out a U-Haul make sure the location where the truck is located is open. Was pointless to have the self check in if I was unable to get to the truck because it was behind the gate and no one to let me in. Only to find out they were out for lunch. Which made me have to wait and call customer service. Today’s rental was better especially since the truck was parked where we parked it yesterday

The person they take care of us was very nice
SONALY SArrived at location and gate was closed.(it's a storage facility too) Tried to use what I thought was intercom to call office. I used random code and got in. Employee was rude or in bad mood. Told her I was there to pick up for the local high school but she didn't have them as party that reserved it. So I offered the RESERVATION #. She said she can't look it up that way and that I needed name and phone #. So I called the Booster president and found out who reserved it. Then was told that THEY would have to come up and pick up. In the end we had to cancel that reservation and create a new one. The employee did get a little nicer as time went on.......then I feel like they rented us the oldest, most used, moving van they had. The seat was terrible and I told the district to tell the driver to bring a cushion. I was also told that I'd get a final receipt on Monday but never did.

Michael FMy complaint is not woth the location itself but with UHaul and their website. We used the guaranteed reservation for an 8:30am pick up, however, we were informed the night before we were to pick up (2 days after placing the reservation) that the pick up location didn't offer the 24 hour pick up. We were able to talk to UHaul and get the $50 money back guarantee.
