I had a horrible experience with UHAUL for my move. This was my second UHAUL location. The first UHAUL location in Leola was closed even though I had a reservation with them. They told me “not my problem” and hung up on me. UHAUL never reached out to me to tell me that the hours changed. After calling 1800 UHAUL, they got me a new reservation at AAMCO and it was a creepy experience. During check in, Ricky or Rippy was making me feel uncomfortable. He told me I needed to bring up google maps, and once I did he took my phone and gave himself a five star review on google maps. When bringing the UHAUL back, Ricky or Rippy said he would check the truck back in. He never did. I had to take extra time out of my move to call to get him to check the truck in. I brought the UHAUL back earlier than expected and still got charged the full day. I am extremely unhappy with UHAUL and I will not be using them again. They didn’t even offer a discount for the error that sent me to the AAMCO location.

Even though I booked the UHaul for only one day online, apparently it still said my drop off was the next day after moving, so the attendant was not expecting me. He was still very nice and more than happy to help me early

RALPH TNext time, you cannot send a customer out with the truck in bad shape. Check engine light on truck. Running really rough front suspension wasn't great at all. I went no more than twelve miles, and it was awful.
JOEL ENo one was there. I sat outside for an hour of my rental time waiting to talk to a human being from U-Haul on the phone. I lost a full hour of my rental time waiting. Then had to get a truck bigger which wasn’t better because all my stuff was sliding around in the back of the U-Haul when driving when I specifically planned on the size I rented ! Poor poor poor place to allow U-Haul rentals !
