I dropped my vehicle off the same day I rented the truck with a quarter gallon more than when I got it. Then I got the receipt it stated I dropped the truck of the following morning after 10am and that I was over my allowed mileage. When I reserved the truck mileage was unlimited, so not sure what happened there.

The person in the store was unaware of what to do. He called someone and told us he was new and never dealt with uhaul. Not helpful.

able to gas up and return truck within 5 minutes

Nothing was checked or reviewed when I dropped of the truck. The person that received the truck did not seem to be fully trained in the process of receiving the truck back and closing out the reservation.

The clerk didn't even know they were a U-haul return place, she had to call her manager. She may have been a new employee. It was basically a gas station, only one sign saying U-haul. Just fyi.

Too many distractions at this location. Uhaul customers need to get in and out as fast as possible.

The person who accepted the key gave no explanation of how to settle final costs with Uhaul. She was the clerk in the convenience store and was very friendly but that was the extent of my drop off experience. She thanked me and said 'you're good to go'! So I left with a feeling of things being unsettled. A very strong contrast to the pick up station.

There was not a U-Haul person at the drop off location, Just gave the keys to the gas station guy. Not okay in my book

I was overcharged for mileage, and my card was already debited before I even got the email with this information. I had to call customer service in order to get this resolved.

No equipment on site as far as dollies or furniture pads. The person was so slow (understaffed) that the regional manager had time to drive from charlotte to fix everything. Overall everyone was extremely nice but an hour to check out a uhaul is not realistic. The dolly was broken but the regional manager, James, made a home delivery to trade it out. I would have been absolutely irate if it wasn't for James.
