The location was not a professional operation, it looked like there were multiple businesses running at the same location. The truck was very dirty (mud inside the cab) the inside of the box was dirty and even had cigarette butts on the floor) there was on 1/4 tank of fuel and we had to waste mileage locating a gas station. There was something wrong with the transmission of the truck!!! Multiple time throughout out or trip the transmission would slip and get stuck in lower gears ( had to shift into neutral to get the engine to stop running at 4000 rpm) the truck was shaking so bad at hwy speed that I actually pulled over to make sure the wheels weren’t falling off!!! It cost us $170 in fuel to travel just over 300 km. Probably the last time I rent a truck from U-Haul

HOSSEIN DOverall very happy with the experience. Would definitely recommend U-Haul and use again. Couple of suggestions: Would have preferred having the truck with a fully tank of gas. Was challenging to return it with the exact amount I started with as the nearest gas station was not close by. I was short by less than a 1/16th of a tank and it cost me an extra $20. The wiper blades were not in good shape - in this winter weather it would have been wise to have checked them and probably replaced. Windshield washer fluid was topped up so that was appreciated as the weather was messy. Truck ran very well and the U-Haul rep at pickup was very helpful. Driop off was quick and efficient. Trying to book online was a bit challenging as the rates and mileage/# of days changed on me after I saved the quote. No one at U-Haul on the phone could explain it. When I did finally phone to book the online customer service was very helpful and helped me finalize the reservation to my satisfaction.
