I finished with my truck the same day and wanted to return it to release my liability. I went to a large facility across the street from a gas station thinking things would be OK. It was about 3:30pm on Friday and the location was closed. They wanted me to check it in and leave the keys in a box, something I did not know how to do. She offered me no instructions. (Maybe it was so simple one shouldn't need instructions). I did not feel comfortable leaving the truck under those circumstances, so I went to another sight. Getting at the other site I was tool, "He was not going to check my truck in, it was too cold to go outside". I was then informed I was to leave it at a site that had been pre-selected by the company. This was the first time I was made aware of this practice. I spend two and one have hours checking the truck in. Findley the person on the phone suggested I take the truck back to the first place (the pre-selected location) and take pictures of the truck. There was no damage and I got the Insurance, so I agreed. I still have $25.00 of bubble wrap I did not use and maybe if I'm going to Danville, I'll drop it off to get my refund. This was a very bad experience, and all wanted to do was to drop the truck off two days early. The site was a convenient store, I did notice I assume it was clean, it was not inviting

Aside from the windshield wiper immediately breaking from the snow/ice, the overall process was smooth and easy in comparison to the 2nd part of this reservation.

ELIZABETH CGot a 20ft truck rented and when we got in it had a service advance traction control warning, and we asked about it and was told to ignore it. On top of that when driving the truck the alignment was majorly off with the steering wheel sitting sideways to drive straight and cannot make a full right turn in the truck. Proceeded to the next area for a car hauler that we were told was reserved for us by this location. Get to that location and the reservation is no where to be found and then told the car hauler can not be taken out of town. 4 hours later at another location, and fighting on the phone for a different truck, we leave with a 26ft truck and car hauler. For the price of the 20ft when I was told I will be switched to a 26 ft truck for the price of a 10ft for the inconvenience.Didn’t happen.
