The guy working was exceptional. He was alone with a line of inpatient people, yet he treated each person with respect. He never made the customer feel that he was overwhelmed and he was helpful and polite. I would have given him alone 5 stars. That said, the place was understaffed. He needed help and shouldn't have had to be there alone. People shouldn't have to wait in line for a half hour (plus) to rent a truck. I was using my phone for check in, but still had to wait in line to get the key and ask a question. In addition, I was only renting my truck for a few hours. I didn't know I couldn't leave my car. I had to park my car at a restaurant and cross the 5 lane road on foot at rush hour. For people renting and returning the same day, there should be an allowance for their personal vehicle.

the girl that waited on me: 1) told me that i didn't look like my driver's license picture (who does) 2) because of #1 made me feel like a criminal 3) blamed me for all sorts of screens that she had to go through 4) was so short-tempered and confrontational 5) seriously, U-Haul: NO PARKING??? are ppl just dropped off??

The dolly was not in the unit as requested and paid for. Didn’t know until I got to my location to move. Had to drive to pick one up and back again. Drove an extra 24 miles plus gas and time. When I tried to call was on hold for over 10 minutes and couldn’t get through. Very unhappy and would like a full or partial refund.

Please know this review comes as I am rating U-haul in general. Well, I communicated with this store on Friday and advised I might pick it up Friday before they closed, otherwise Saturday morning around 9. The response was that was fine. I got there a little after 9 on Saturday, didn't see the ring bell for service, knocked on the service door to get the young ladies attention, she promptly advised me there is a ring bell for service sign on the desk, no hello, how are you, thank you for using U-Haul. So we were off to a great start. Not sure she smiled once and mentioned I was late and we got into the discussion between the 8am time she thought I was to be there and the conversation I had with the employee the night before about 9am. I wasn't going to have any extended discussion at this point with the young lady. She got me my truck, asked me if I needed help backing it out, I said no, another patron helped me back it out to avoid poles and other patrons/vehicles at the store. Returned the vehicle with what I thought was 1/4 tank--which I though was fine, only to be charged $22.53 (about 9 gallons I would assume) for gas from EZ GAS and a $30.00 fill up fee. Needless to say I didn't think this would happen.

Kelly the Mgr was very rude and I asked her to keep it rational and she then raised her voice at me when I asked her not to talk at me that way then instead of apologizing she asked me to leave her store in the middle of a transaction with my money then she threatened to call the phone lice on me. I was disgusted by her abuse of power and aggressive behavior and threats. I would never do business there again and will never recommend to anyone. The uhaul in Canton is much more professional and friendly with good customer service manners so far. I would drive the extra 30 min to get there.

At the time of renting the vehicle, I was told that the fuel tank was full and that I needed to return the vehicle with a full tank or would be charged an additional fee. I ended up driving the vehicle a total of thirteen (13) miles. It was a short, in-town, mission. I filled the tank at the end of my mission. It took a total of 4.72 gallons of gas to fill the tank. That is - I drove a total of thirteen miles and ended up replacing 4.72 gallons of gas. Either the tank was not full (as I was told) at the time of my departure, or that van gets the worst mileage of any vehicle ever built. In the future, I would recommend that the attendant not misrepresent the fuel status of the vehicle. The attendant should ensure that the vehicle is indeed full if it is represented as full. By my calculation, I am out about $10.00 because your attendant's misrepresentation of the fuel status of the vehicle. I could care less about the ten dollars. I am more upset about the lack of truthfulness on the part of the attendant. I am not a regular customer of U-Haul as it is rare that I have reason to need a vehicle larger than my station wagon. Nevertheless, I hope that I will not have reason to rent from you in the future. If I do, I will ask to ensure that the fuel tank is actually full before I sign the contract.

The site is a little disorganized as in cluttered. I ordered a truck closer to where I live, but the closest you could provide was here. This cost me $20 more in mileage. It hardly seems fair that if you cannot provide a vehicle in my area I should pay more because of it. You should discount that mileage back to me.

The truck was fine, but it took over twenty minutes to get it; then, then gas reading didn't agree with the contract, which cost me a lot more to fill.

Danielle customer servixe rep was very rude. I had reserved a truck for 24 hrs and had prepaid express check in the day before. Because I was late picking it up she said I must return by 7:00 pm or additional charges were to be incurred. There were plenty of vehicles on the lot and she said mine was rented out again at 7:00 pm because I was late. Bad customer service

Kelley was very discourtous to me, treated me subhuman and tried denying me the rental I reserved over a week in advance. They also charged my father-in-laws debit card when we agreed to pay cash opon return of the rental WITHOUT PERMISSION OR EVEN GIVING US THE OPTION! I WILL NEVER RENT A TRUCK FROM UHAUL EVER AGAIN!
