I felt they did a good job. Nice guys... The truck was clean but I prefer having a full tank of gas. The gas was said to be 7/8 full half mile from location a total of 1.7 miles from storage where truck was loaded gas showed less then 3/4 tank. $25.00 added to cost as I had to bring tank to 7/8....

Back of van had not been swept out. Previous user must have moved farm items such as feed etc as it smelled like a animal pen. Not really a bad smell, but the smell of a feed store.

When the Pick Up location is unable to change the Drop Off location, something's wrong with the U-Haul System. They told me to call a national number which said that the Pick Up location could do that which they were unable to do. And even after renting, repeated calls to national were unable to change the Drop Off. Frustrating as all hell! The reason I wanted to change is when I reserved online, my desired neighborhood Drop Off was not shown. So I had to drive miles out of my way to a location the U-Haul system would not allow me to change. The U-Haul; System sucks! But since it's the only game in town, it can continue to suck and no one will do a damn thing.

I needed to return my auto transport on Saturday eve. The drop off place was closed. until Monday I called UHAUL,they said I could not drop it anywhere else (there was another UHAUL location that was open). So, I dropped it off, but I had no confidence that it wouldn't get stolen. So, I called UHAUL twice to ensure they knew I dropped it off. On Monday, I checked my online account and it did not show it was returned. So, I called UHAUL again and they sent me documentation showing the unit had been returned. Very difficult process.

It would have been a lot nicer if I had a dolly to assist. I heard they were to come with them, but overall, since not, it made my job a lot harder. It would be nice to have the U-Haul agent ask this at the time of customer renting, would be nice. Thank you.
