The company is shady. Nit only with their storage units but with uhaul also. They had a different odometer reading on the invoice than the actual truck itself, cusing me mote expense. They also confiscated $100 off my card reason ws because it was a cash card so basically said because they could. They refused to acknowledge the return which it was returned on the same day but when i went looking for my $100 i found they hadnt checked the truck in which was 3 days later! I had to contact uhaul myself and now im still waiting & its been5 days! I would not ever do business with this company if i was paid.- no one should and for nany other reasons than renting a truck.

I originally booked my reservation with the 1717 location, but I was instructed to pick up the truck at Acorn instead. I had also ordered moving supplies and believed everything would be at the acorn location. The staff told me the supplies were already in the truck, so I trusted that everything was there. They printed my contract, and I left for my destination. After I had already parked, I received a text from U-Haul instructing me to take photos of the truck, mileage, and other information before leaving the pickup location. No one at Acorn mentioned that I needed to do this before I left. I also discovered that only the furniture pads I ordered were in the truck. The padlock and mattress covers I paid for were missing. When I asked about them, I was told they couldn't see that information because they weren't a U-Haul location. I wish that had been communicated by U-Haul before I picked up the truck. Since I had already arrived at my destination and started loading the truck, I had to cancel the missing supplies. Overall, I just wish there had been better communication between U-Haul and the pickup location to make the process smoother.
