I went to the front desk to receive the key for the truck to be notified it was in the lock box. Then I went thru the online check in which was a pain to do. Then at the end of the check in process I still didn't receive a code for the lock box. What should have taken five minutes was a thirty minute waste of time. Then the truck I received was covered in bugs and smeared windshield which I had to clean myself. Also the pick up location looked very unprofessional, it looked like it was supposed to be a junkyard, not a mechanic shop. Also, I rented a 26' truck only to be told to drive an hour away to pick it up which was farther than my move.Anthony P.

First of all they can't even email or text the right info to the right person. I've gotten 4 different emails for contracts and multiple repeat texts on questions I've already answered. We got the wrong truck as evidenced by the wrong mileage and wrong receipt. I still don't know what I've paid for entirely yet as I haven't gotten MY receipt. Please have things ready at the time requested. I requested a truck ready at 1 p.m. (to assure it would be ready and we could be on our way) and said we would be there at around 3 p.m. Paperwork was not ready and person in charge was not available or willing to come in and take care of things. Have the Uhaul person in charge be there when a time is set. He never did show up. Overall an extremely shitty experience and won't use that location ever again, which is unfortunate as we have a college age child we need to move at least one more time. I have to say that the man who ended up having to help us did his best and was very nice.Jason C.
I was supposed to pick up my truck at 11am. I arrived at 11 and had to wait 35 minutes before someone showed up to the shop to "help" me. The number on the side of the building was disconnected. There was a cell phone number to "call or text" which I had to call 8 times before I got a response. Not impressed. Glad I scheduled to pick it up a day ahead of my actual moving day because I would have been screwed otherwise.Hannah D.
The place wasn't open at 8:45 when I picked it up and the electric wire was tucked in the tubing and frozen so I had to buy a 4' extension from a local store. When I returned from the store at 9:15, R&B Tire still wasn't open. I was informed the day before from a worker in the store to do the rental transaction on-line. Obviously that wasn't the case.William N.
We drove 60 miles and got their early for our scheduled appointment. He was late to the scheduled appointment. He said he had to run an errand first. The uhaul windshield was covered with snow and ice.Â I had to replace the windshield wiper before I could start my trip.Â He didn't let us into the store but kept us standing outside in very cold weather while he did everything on his phone until the last minute then we got to go inside.Â He did not ask for my driver's license, in fact the contract has the wrong name for the driver. He did not even have half the number of furniture pads that we requested so we had to make a separate 120 mile round trip to get them.Â He was extremely unprofessional.Sharon A.

Well, I didn't get what I ordered. I ended up with a truck, with extra cost. apparently I went 22 miles over the mileage, I'm not sure how I went over the miles given due to the fact i didn't enter the destination just the out side of town. Now I am being charge for the few miles. I was told by your customer service I would not have any extra charges on this since I didn't receive what I ordered. Now, I will be paying a few dollars extra for my rental. the customer service representative was not friendly what so ever. The Man in Morris was very helpful and tried his best to correct mistake, it was you phone customer service that wasn't helpful. :(Theresa S.
The office was disgustingly filthy. Honestly totally not maintained at all. Just to show how long anything was touched the calendar on the wall was on December 2019, this was August. The employee was disheveled, torn pants showing his underwear through the hole in this leg. They gave me the wrong trailer ( bigger than ordered) then hours later called and wanted me to bring it back. The triller was already loaded and we were ready to leave. We ended up not bringing it back.Paige H.
The box of the truck contained 13 dirty moving blankets in a pike, and a moving dolly that was not fastened to the side of the box. I did not order those items.Michael V.

I attempted to call the number listed both on the website and on the sign and it said the number was disconnected when I tried to go into the building to talk to someone it was locked. We arrived for return at 12 pm. In addition in general it was unacceptable that the reservation was changed to a different drop off location with only a text as notice which arrived as I was driving to our agreed upon drop off location. This made it inconvenient and required us to change our plans for the day as we then had to go to a different location for drop off. If a location is agreed upon when the contract is made then it is not acceptable to change that location during the time the contract is in place!Kari W.

Shop is an absolute mess. What should have taken 5 minutes since I prebooked and took care of everything online like Uhaul suggested due to Covid 19 took 40 minutes. The guy at the rental place was nice and did his best with what he had to work with but i was like they didn't even know I was coming. I don't know who dropped the ball but I did everything on my end.Trace T.

Both pick up and drop off locations were friendly. However, my drop off location was in Wheaton, MN as per my contract. There was no drop off location in Wheaton so I was expected to drive a 1 1/2 hour round trip to drop off the trailer. I want a free rental day or something comparable.John D.

They were hard to contact and so I did all the paperwork and reservation online. They told us they may be unable to have the trailer we needed even though I had an online registration. It all worked out fine, we got the trailer we needed and somebody was there when we needed to pick it up.Jeanne T.

Very disappointed however in my initial experience. Went to the UHaul in Janesville, WI and ordered a POD on Sunday June 23rd received notice by email on June 25 at 9 pm that it was cancelled. Didn't even have the courtesy to call. Had to change all the plans which I thought was very unprofessional of UHaul.Hannah T.
I had a â€œguaranteedâ€ pick up in fargo for 930 so that is how I planned our move to be out of the apartment by 1pm. I get to the location and am told that my truck was accidentally dropped off in Morris MN, and that they were really sorry but if I wanted a truck for that day I'd have to drive out there and get it. They gave me a discount and more miles to cover that extra distance but the discount didn't compensate for gas to get to where I actually reserved the truck. Overall it was a terrible experience and I understand it's always busy but how is anyone ever able to count on/plan if these â€œaccidentsâ€ are allowed to happen? If I ever need to move again I will never use U-Haul, it's not worth it.kaleb K.
