I will no longer try to book rentals through the central scheduling hub. The app told me that he closest available 6x12 enclosed trailer was in Paducah KY, which is about an hour drive from here. The day before I was to pick up the trailer I was in Murray KY (20 minutes away and a town that I am in almost daily) and saw several of these trailers on the lot in Murray. I called the location and they told me that they had a number of these available and so I booked with them and cancelled my original reservation. In days gone by I could select a location for pickup and with appropriate lead time, a trailer or truck would be available at that location even if it meant that U-Haul had to internally move one to that location. It is poor customer service to have a customer search on their own locally to find units that are available because U-Haul wants to direct customers to a specific location. You need to do better.

Chad PThe main issue was trying to get the reservation set up. I couldn't figure out how to find the selection for an auto transport trailer. My more local store was having issue being open with no posted reasons. I left a phone message but didn't receive any call back unless it was the unknown call that disconnected, but not until I had pulled off the lot with from Max's 641 Towing. Once I got on the phone with them the setup, pickup and return drop off went smoothly.
