David PI arrived early but there was nobody at the front desk. Nobody to be found anywhere so I waited 20 minutes for my reservation time. I thought it was odd that no one at the desk or checking in to see if someone came in. However I was early .... I was charged for damage coverage and I waved that coverage. I have insurance so I would not purchase this. My last name is incorrect even after giving the attendant my identification. The rentals are supposed to be for 24 hours and mine had a rental time of 4 hours. I didn't get a discount because it was 4 hours. It should have been 24 hours.. I have put a call in for them to call me back... So frustrating
meg bI was billed an additional $21.00 for allegedly not properly returning my U-Haul truck. We finished our rental early, so I returned the truck after hours. I followed the same procedure I have used before and placed the keys in the designated after-hours drop box. I’m very disappointed that this resulted in an additional charge, especially since I followed the return instructions and have successfully used the after-hours drop box in the past. I would appreciate it if you would review this charge and reimburse the $21.00 that was incorrectly billed to me. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable returning to this location for a future rental. I hope you can resolve this issue and restore my confidence in U-Haul’s service. Thank you for looking into this and processing the reimbursement.
