Once I finished unpacking the took it to a location nearest to my house. After getting there, they told me I was at the wrong location and gave me the address in downtown Wilmington. I wasn't about to drive a 26' truck in downtown traffic and called U-haul, which give me this address as I was asking for a location in New Castle. After pulling into the parking lot where I saw all the U-Haul trucks, I couldn't find the store. I called the number on my phone and the man told me that he doesn't have space in the front parking lot, and I might have to find a spot in the backlot. After looking at his screen he told me he had no delivery of trucks scheduled and I proceeded to explain the situation to him. He told me that he's not supposed to park the truck in the parking lot and that I need to take it back to the location originally scheduled. I told him that as a customer I should have to choose to pick a better location based on my driving capabilities. I asked which store he was located in and proceeded to the store. Once inside, he barely greeted me after I greeted him with a smile. He just took the key, threw it on his chair, and said something I could not understand. Once I finally got my receipt, the tank was marked as 3/4 full. It was back at the 7/8 mark (gauge isn't showing full ever - something is wrong with it). Fact is, I filled it up 6 miles prior and made sure the gas pump clicked - not once, but twice. My wife was next to me in her van and confirmed this. After trying to connect with this location, he told me I was irresponsible to leave the truck in the parking lot. I WOULD NOT USE THIS LOCATION!

Customer service was excellent. The attendant was very friendly and informative. Check out and the subsequent return of the truck was very quick and efficient. The location is conveniently located next to a gas station for bringing the fuel up to the required levels prior to returning. I would recommend this location to other potential customers.

There was a really bad smell in the truck that made my partner sick to his stomach causing him to almost vomit. He had to drive his car because he couldn’t stay in the truck.

The price to rent this truck is way too expensive! They advertise the truck for $20 but don’t include that people pay for mileage plus a $44 hold on your car and gas! Never again

They rejected the first time to drop the truck at this location, was sent to another location and then sent back to them, due to this, I went over on the limited miles and charge extra 20 dollars. I was not happy with this., UHaul experience has not been the greatest overall

We had to wait over 45 minutes to get our truck which threw our schedule off for our move. The guy was nice enough but it was very frustrating.

This was a sketchy area at best. The trucks are parked out back in a grass lot that is a cut through from some rail road tracks. The truck was filthy inside and out and stunk terribly. The exterior was covered in graffiti as well. The truck was also an old model and was an incredibly rough ride. This move was a temporary one while my new house is being built. I will not use this service for my next move in 6 months.

This was the THIRD location I had to go to in order to get a truck. My first choice was booked (told me in advance), I was referred to a second location. Arrived to pick up truck and was told it wasn't returned by the previous renter. Waste of my time since I could have been told in advance. I was then referred to a third location. Better communication would be my improvement suggestion.

The man who was working at this location was really nice. I had scheduled online to pick it up at 8 am. He called me saying that they don't open until 9 am, but that I could come get the keys before he closed the night before so that I wouldn't be inconvenienced. While I was there, he told me that if I didn't have a place to park it overnight, that I could leave it in the lot until the next morning. Overall, very good experience.
