My equipment was not available on-site when I arrived at my pre-arranged pickup time. The location staff told me that the previous renter was running late, and I could wait for the previous renter or drive to another location that had the same size equipment (either choice would cost me more time). Do a better job of managing equipment inventory: when a customer reserves equipment, make sure it is available for them. When the equipment did finally arrive (almost an hour late) it was damaged (whether by the previous renter or by a renter before them). I accepted the equipment because I needed it that day, but I was told by staff at my drop-off location that I should have refused it because it was potentially unsafe. How would I know what? I don't rent trailers often enough to know the difference. Do a better job of monitoring equipment condition and managing inventory (see previous comments).
