Have rented from you for years. Used the online system for the first time, made my plans to move my inlaws, arrived at the pick up site and....no truck. The manager on site was very helpful and called a few other stores. After waiting about 45 minutes we had to drive to another store. Wound up having to downsize the truck because no other store had the larger truck I reserved online. This lead to double the number of trips. Overal this fiasco put us close to 90 minutes behind schedule to start, plus then double time and double the mileage. I would like to understand how uhaul will address this? Thanks. They gave truck to someone else. And i called the main line. I was told that compliance department will call me back, and they never did. Horrible....

The vehicle had a faulty gas gauge. I was supposed to return it a half-full, but the gas gauge did not move up to the half-way point until the tank was full. I went 26 mi on the vehicle (a van) and paid $30 in gas. The worst part is, the location manager completely washed his hands of the situation. In order to get reimbursement, I had to call for road-side assistance, wait for them to arrive, document that the equipment was faulty, and then, go separately to the U-Haul website to file for a refund. For what? About a $15-$20 refund?! I feel like the system was designed to be cumbersome so that you can just pocket the extra gas (or whatever) in situations like these. Next time, I go to Home Depot Rentals!!!!! And believe me, my friends will hear about this!

The truck was filthy and the staff took a half hour to complete the paperwork and hand me the keys to the truck. They didn’t even bother to explain some crucial things to a first time truck driver.

Do everything you possibly can to not have to ever use this location. The other reviewers are right about it being unorganized. You will always have to wait because even if there is no problem with your reservation there will probably be an issue with the person ahead of you and they don't troubleshoot well. I did the online check in which is supposed to be faster and it made it worse because their computer didn't know how to process it. The person at the desk called for help and during his conversation he mentioned that I overpaid and was due a refund of $16 but at NO POINT did he ever say that to me. When he gave me the paperwork there was indeed a refund to my account. When I got my truck the person before me had not filled it with gas and it was not at the right level. I brought this to their attention and they wrote something on my piece of paper but did not change it in the computer and so I had issues returning my truck. If i was trying to rent a uhaul and this location was the only option I would choose not to use uhaul and figure something else out.

First, I didn't see that the rate per mile had increased from 2 weeks ago I had rented another van. It was 1.09, and it has become 1.59, wooow 50% increase. Second, when I got the van, the fuel.was at 3/4, and in less than 5 miles it went in 1/4. Furthmore, the employees are really rude.

I'm not sure what the problem was, but here is my bad experience. After making a reservation and utilizing the U-Haul early online check in feature which is suppose to cut your wait time at the location, the customer service rep started putting in all the information I had already put when I made the original reservation. I was waiting for him to finish for 25 min. He asked how far I was going, where was I returning the van, my phone number driver license address etc, did I need extra equipment, and I was getting very irritated because I had already put all of this information on the reservation. So why was it as if he was creating a whole new order? Didn't save me anytime at all. Poor experience.

Update the computer and Hardware, hire someone who is knowledgeable in operating the computer, make sure vehicles are clean and ready to go before handing over the keys to the customer enact some Financial compensation for shortcomings in any of these categories to the customer
