Michael KThe guy out the counter was disrespectful and I showed up with military veterans... He denied the blankets and dolly I ordered in the reservation... He made we wait an extra long time to receive the rental... He was unpleasant and offended that I was a successful 4th generation military veteran and I checked in with military ID...
Roderic JDefinitely a no-go, not recommended. The area is a nightmare and not safe at all even not on a Saturday morning. Van was already out of gas on reserve with lights on, so despite driving only 10 miles I put over a Gallon of gas in it in the nearby BP gas station to be on the safe side and not stranding on the roadside out of gas. Dropped the van after 3.5 hours and exact 10 miles and was overcharged with the mileage (took pictures so the scam is proven) as well as fuel service they pretended to fueled up another Gallon which means "Goodfriend" states the Van needs 1 Gal per 5 miles which is totally ridiculous and plain and simple fraud. Complained with the credit card company as fraud as when you call "Goodfriend" they played dumb that they have nothing to do with the rental despite their number is printed on the invoice. Never ever again, this place is a nightmare overcharging you with bogus charges. Usually U Haul is an absolute no brainer and really straight forward, this place is not. You should spare yourself the troubles going there.
