Had completed on line check in. Gave reservation number to clerk. She found it. Then went through the entire rental contract again. Including my credit and driver id information. Finally left with rental but no printed agreement, I declined moving help while processing original rental. Why did I get a reminder email everyday until a picked it up. Once is enough.

Truck was running extremely rough. Back had leaves and dirt in it from previous user, and the hood was not closed properly and started to pop up as I was driving down the highway. Tried to call and change my reservation Friday night to pick up the truck early (and pay more...) and they told me constantly that my reservation was for Saturday, even though they said they had the truck.

The truck was dirty with garbage in the cab and in the back. They told me the tank was half filled and it was less then half. It was hard to communicate with the employee because of the language barrier. Bad overall experience. Will not use that location again.

For some reason the computer system at this location would not list the Norwood location as a destination option.



You changed your policy as to how you price the use of your vehicle(s), found it very expensive for the little time it was needed. In the future it will force me to go to your competition for cheaper service.

The woman I received the Uhaul from had very little knowledge about the technology she was using. Spoke very little English creating a lot of problems for both parties. She could barely communicate to me that she did not know how to see if I paid or not, tried to get me to pay twice, and refused my insurance that I had already paid for. I showed her my email confirmations and she continued to deny my payment. Overall I was very unhappy with my experience here, and this woman was little to no help to me. She only made more problems and could not communicate with me.

Did not get my reserved truck until 12 hours after my booked reservation time!



Tried to scam me out of an extra 100 bucks because i was paying with cash. Said the payment wouldnt go through. Extremely rude when i said to try anyway and it did go through. Watch out for this guys scam.

There was an option of checking out with a mobile device.This did not work well and I had to go inside anyway.



Reservation process was a nightmare. We booked a truck and when we went to the location to pickup, they insisted none were available and couldn't find my reservation. I was forced to rent a more expensive truck and adjust our plans. Very inconvenient.

I tried using the self-sign in feature and the woman at the desk wouldn't just give me the keys but would insist on having me give her the license and credit card and insisted that she print out the contract even though I had it emailed to me. When I returned, they overcharged the insurance and took an extra 15 minutes to get it credited back so that I was charged what was on the contract.

The asian woman who worked at Pace Energy did not speak English sufficiently well to do the job of renting U-Haul equipment. This led to frustration in communicating the rental process / terms / payment etc.
