Needing to provide references for pick up was unexpected, sunday AM not a convenient time to bother people. I would have been happy to provide a passport which was an option but of course in the parking lot of the U-Haul place I did not have my passport. Next time I would drive farther to pick up in person to avoid this extra step to be vetted electronically.
