My only concern at this time is we are experiencing a surge in Covid-19 spread and when I picked up the cargo van the two girls in the office were maskless. I did wear a mask which might have reminded them to put on the mask I saw on their desks but they did not. I worried when I got into the truck whether or not the surfaces in the cab were sanitized after the last user. I'm betting probably not.Patricia L.
I made this reservation for two vans in October. I specifically needed vans because we were transporting poinsettias for a CB East Lacrosse fundraiser, and the flowers needed to be kept warm. The morning of pick-up we were told we were 'upgraded' to a 10' truck, which didn't help because it doesn't have heat in the back. We were only upgraded because they didn't have the vans that were promised to us. I was back and forth on the phone with two women in scheduling on the day of our event trying to sort this out, and I was basically told that specific vehicles can't be promised ahead of time - she explained that you never know when people don't return them on time, etc. There was no remorse, no apology, and when I showed well-founded frustration, she was simply rude and annoyed with me. It was clear she wanted me off the phone. Eventually they were able to secure two vans at two different locations, which meant the drivers had to leave work early to get there in time for our flower distribution because of the extra driving. In making those changes, they sent the wrong name in the confirmation email. When I called back to make sure that was okay, the same woman was again rude and off-putting. From beginning to end, the entire transaction was a mess. The whole experience was honestly just unexpected and upsetting. Why should the customer be made to feel bad because U-haul didn't follow through on their promise? And the fact that both women I dealt with didn't even try to hide their rudeness is unreal. It worked out in the end, but this is no way to do business.Stephanie K.

This was not the fault of the location but I was not happy that two days before my rental, my reservation was changed from a 20 ft to a 15 ft truck that was 30 miles away instead of 8 miles away. The allowable mileage was adjusted so I didn't have any mileage overages. Fortunately, the 15 foot truck was big enough.Peter S.
Smart phone App pick-up was difficult and return was a mess. Spent a half hour on the phone with trying to return the Van. Rep tried to help with the App but could not help me. Told me to take the pics and text them to a phone number that he provided. Took all the right picks. Next day tried calling the Good Times Rental location for proper billing. They were rued and and useless. They also provided a number to text the pics nothing came of it. Today I got hit with $354.78 charge for driving 1100 miles in 2 hours and 45 min. Which obviously is not possible. Just called U-Haul directly and we are trying to resolve this. A week of BS!!!! and my time. REALLY!!!!!!Silvana G.

Wanted to pick the van up at 10am. Started the mobile checkout process and that took 50 minutes. Did not get out of there till 11am. Thought the location was supposed to be open on Saturdays, but no one was there. Tried call the location's number - no one answered. Called U-Haul twice - was put on hold each time for over 10 minutes, until the app finally approved my rental. Not sure if the website or app mentions the amount of time it takes for this type of checkout, but it should.Steven L.
