At first it was difficult inquiring with individual to confirm reservation. He did not understand English. He had to get another person on the phone to complete transaction.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkHey there, this was a complicated situation. The very pleasant staff person at the Gas and Deli Mart didn't have any way to help with check-in and check-out, and was a little vague about the whole process. Maybe I missed it but calling out on your website that one must use the app at this location would be helpful. Using the app was extremely difficult as well. It could have been a cell service/wifi issue but getting photos to load correctly both of my ID and for photos of the truck for check-in/check-out was pretty difficult. I do use the photo function in other apps, so I don't think it was user error? And I am pretty sure I've used the Uhaul app before successfully, although it's been a couple years ago. And then finally, although the vehicle was clean, the lock cylinder was missing completely from the driver's side, so one had to unlock and enter the truck from the passenger side and crawl over. Not the end of the world but not ideal. The whole thing was just about 23% more frustrating than it should have been.

Hellen LNo apparent U-haul presence, except trucks parked outside. Went into the market and asked if this was the right place to return the truck. Guy behind the counter said "Sure, just give me the key and we'll take care of it." I was a little apprehensive, but did as asked. Turns out all was good, but it felt 'off' at the time.
