The computer system was not working properly so I waited longer than expected to swipe my card and check in.

The estimated fuel needed to replenish the tank to the noted point is inaccurate. I drove 15 miles, added 1.8 gals (1.7 shown as needed) and the gauge didn't move. I passed a second gas station (both within 1/2 mile of the Uhaul location), so I added another 1.8 gals, and the needle barely moved. So the truck, apparently, used more than 3.6 gallons in 15 miles. I mentioned this when returning the truck. Now I see I was then charged $9 for 2 gallons according to the receipt. While most everything about this transaction was satisfactory, this seems like borderline scam to me.

The woman running the place yelled at me for bringing the truck there. Even though it was specified in my contract. She tried to send me to another location, even though I had to 1) walk back home and 2) it was raining. This woman made it clear she hates U-Haul.

It was unfortunate UHaul would not allow me to add CDW after more than 30 minutes. I was still *at* the location. In order to add CDW we had to "cheat" and "return" the van paying the daily rate of 29.90 + miles (7 miles I think) and then re-rent it for the 9 days duration with CDW included. That $30 was money down the drain, which was pretty annoying to be honest. The rep at the counter was really helpful, he came up with this solution and I appreciate him very much for it. But it's bureaucratic and arbitrary. There needs to be room for exceptions even though your policies 30 minutes, it is situation where the customer is still at the location and no damage has been done to the car, there should be away for a representative to change the contract. It would be nice if you could refund those $30 dollars. Thanks.

Nothing was as it said it would be online. I had to go to a location 7 miles away and was charged for it rather than the one that was closest to my house. The associates were impatient and short. They didn't answer all my questions about random charges and when I showed them the gas wasn't actually to the marker line he said yes it is I am the one who filled it and then walked off. I have pictures to prove it. It ended up being 70 dollars more than I was told online. Worse experience ever and I've been renting for many years. I will now be going with another company in the future.

Customer service is excellent - I was greeted by Jeremy immediately upon pulling in with my truck (to return) and he took care of me right away. Inside, Monica helped provide me a printed receipt for my records; she was extremely friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. With this being my first uhaul rental, I was a little nervous about the return process in a city I'm unfamiliar with, but this was a 5-star experience!

This was the first time I used U-Haul after hours. Picking up the U-Haul was great and super easy; my first thought was "wow, this is great and super easy. I'm really impressed." We got the U-Haul packed, unpacked and was getting ready to return it. The directions of how to return the truck could have been a little more clear. For example, it did not mention having to put the key in the drop box. Luckily we had common sense and figured that out. I would not recommend using U-Haul after hours to ANYONE! I've learned that computers truly cannot replace people. I was charged 21 times over the first time charge. This had equaled roughly $1,700. I spoke with someone that night who kindly gave me my regions phone number. I called the number first thing in the morning (7:30AM), Saturday April 22nd and spoke with Michelle. She seemed very concerned and told me she would promptly handle my situation. I called back around 9:30AM, having not heard from anyone, and spoke with Tammie. Tammie was very unpleasant to work with and speak with. I told her about my situation and she seemed careless. She said she would ask Michelle about my situation and get back to me. Hearing nothing back, I called again around 11AM. I reached Tammie again and she let me know that they submitted a ticket to the programming department and would follow up with me with any new updates. I continued to move on Saturday and never heard anything back. I called three times on Sunday, each time reaching a busy phone line, so I just dropped it assuming the office was closed. This morning, Monday April 24th, I called again and reach Kristin. She has been the ONLY person that has been helpful and pleasant to speak with. She is the first person who has helped to resolve my situation and cared. If it wasn't for her, this review would be way worse. I recently had a baby, been dealing with anxiety and PPD, and to add this to my plate was terrifying. To top it off, having such a large company be so careless about over charging their customer $1,700 and letting it go two days with making no progress is disgusting. To know there is a company that does such thing is sad.
