U-Haul is an absolute joke of a company. I booked my truck almost TWO MONTHS in advance, only to get a call TWO DAYS before pickup telling me my location had been changed. Not just down the road — but 30 minutes past my original spot, plus 30 minutes back. That’s a full hour wasted after I already had a 4-hour drive. When I asked if they could at least try to find something along my route, they couldn’t be bothered. The person on the phone was rude, dismissive, and made it clear they didn’t care at all about helping me. To add insult to injury, on my drive I passed FOUR trucks sitting in a lot that were the exact type I had reserved. Don’t tell me it’s about “availability” when the trucks are sitting right there. This company is dishonest, disorganized, and doesn’t give a damn about their customers. Save yourself the stress and go anywhere else — U-Haul is a scam.
