I originally made the pickup for a 20’ truck in Lewis Center which is relatively close to my storage unit for 8am. I was informed that a 20’ truck was not available in that location and the only truck that size would be at a different (farther) location and a different time. Customer support agent was unapologetic for the error. I asked about any sort of price matching for distance due to inconvenience of having to drive farther. No remorse or apology was given. Very much a “what do you want me to do about it” attitude. When I went to went to the new pickup point in Powell, the location didn’t have the dolly I requested and only had an appliance dolly which made moving boxes more difficult. U-Haul missed the mark on this one. I will likely consider using a competitor in the future.
Ryan TI had to use the app to complete an after hours drop off. After uploading the pictures of the vehicle, the app spun and never showed I successfully completed the drop off.
Nicole SI did not find the on line check in and pick up to be user friendly.
