These people here are not trust worthy , they were giving me a dirty truck and telling me I will be charged if I bring it back dirty “ I had to point out all the dirt in the back before leaving with it and then he went to clean it after I said I wouldn’t want pay for that

Woman who ran the shop that the uHaul’s were at made it a very unpleasant experience. At first she attempted to claim that we had caused damage onto one of their vehicles, however we disputed the damage and took a picture and a note beforehand. Also, we only went to Ikea, and back; upon returning we also let her know that was all we had done. Nonetheless, she pulled out a broom, and very dismissively demanded that we sweep out the back of the truck for the next customer even though we explicitly let her know everything we had brought was in cardboard boxes. Also, when we first picked up the vehicle, there was 1/8 a tank of gas in the car, so we immediately had to go put in thirty dollars to bring it to above a quarter tank. We took a picture of the dashboard, fuel gauge and odometer and uploaded it to the uHaul website. Upon returning to drop off the vehicle, once again the woman at the AquaVitae store that your uHaul vehicles are at, proceeded to accuse us of irresponsibly returning the vehicle back with little gas inside of it, however, I refuse to provide them with more gas than I even started out with for the next customer — that is NOT our responsibility. We were forced to show her a receipt from the gas station where we previously made our $30.00 purchase, and then she finally gave in and brushed us away stating that she would send us a receipt in our emails. Upon receiving the receipt in the email, we were charged $10.50 for two gallons of gas, running the total charges for gas for our experience at precisely $40.50, which we vehemently believe we do not owe, since WE ALREADY SHOWED HER OUR GAS RECEIPT. 10/10, the single worst customer service experience we have ever encountered. For a company as successful as uHaul, I highly recommend you no longer continue business with these people, they do not promote your brand in a positive light. PS: Can confirm this with previous yelp reviews

Overall score is boosted because the employee texted me before rental time as a reminder which is nice. What really brings their score down is they asked me, the customer, if I could use my AAA membership to have someone over to unlock a truck the employee accidentally locked a key inside. It wasn't even my truck, it was just another truck. The truck itself was clean and mostly fine except for the rear cargo door. The counterbalance spring had for whatever reason lost some of it's cable tension so several times, one or both cables came loose from the guide drum, causing it to become tangled on the shaft, preventing the door from closing all the way. I had to manually disentangle the cables every time so I could close the door. Not the rental location's fault but this truck needs servicing.

Explained to the owner that I will pay cash for the rental and my card was charged in addition to the cash payment. As of a few days, the charges have not been taken off my card. Reached out to the owner and no response.

It is great service but I’m not sure why you guys charge mileage. If you guys already have a charge for the day. Not just that it smelled Like cigarettes In the driver side. And in the back were we loading All are furniture Smelled like marijuana :(

I’m a regular U-Haul customer. I always avoid renting at this location! The customer service is horrible. The couple that own this place are so rude and racist!! They’re always trying to charge extra for damages and days!

Your website did not work when I returned the truck after hours to check in online. Very frustrating. Also tried to call UHaul.com and after waiting a half hour on the phone, finally connected to a rep and they hung up on me. I will Never rent from U Haul again!

Too many inappropriate questions to me at the store. They also made fun of an other customer who could not understand over the phone the sales person direction to get to the store. Before that, the mobile app did not work for me. It could find my reservation even when I got it from the email confirmation. Next, there were poor instructions as to where to find the keys for the truck. I was disappointed at the mobile application. I am glad the lady on the phone helped me. Gabriel

Nothing, everything about the process was perfect. But you should check your trucks for fuel leaks. I filled up gas and by the time I got to the rental location the fuel level had dropped a ridiculous amount and I had to drive back to get gas again. I’ve been driving all kinds of vehicles for over 25 years and that is absolutely not normal.

It was very hard to find. All the trucks were in the back. Only a small sign on the front of the store front. The staff was not very personable.

$1.00 per mile is expensive. When you advertise $19.99 to rent a truck and then end up paying three times that amount, it's a bit misleading. But, overall the people were very nice who I rented the truck from.

The woman who assisted me was extremely rude and mad she had to be working. Let me know she was there early because of an error online with booking. Made me feel bad and was just unpleasant. Would never go back.

They need to be nicer to their customers or they will lose them. They were rude when I picked up the van and then the next morning I get several texts and phone calls waking me up after a long day of moving and only a few hours sleep, accusing me of not having money on my card and saying “You will not be able to rent again for many years in USA.” I called back and told her there was money on the card so she ran it again and it worked. The rudeness was uncalled for and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone else.
