The truck was fantastic. Worked great and was super clean. The folks at the location were very rude and difficult to work with. When I dropped the truck off he was abrasive and very much made me not want to use this service again.

wonderful service! the equipment nice and clran and in good condition. If there was a quibble, I was checked out at half tank of gas. When I got in, it was slightly below half. Not fair or nice. I returned with slightly more than half. But other than that the experience was very good.

Difficult location to find due to poor signage. I was confused as I thought I had prepaid over the phone and received a call from my husband asking me which credit card to use. In the background of the phone call I heard the woman tell my husband NOT to call me asking for clarification, and insisted that it was unpaid and that she needed to process it. I understand now that the card on file was used to reserve the truck, but I feel that her communication with my husband was not the best customer service experience.

Too many issues to describe. They asked me to come before my scheduled pickup because it was easier for them than after hours pickup, but then when I returned the van they tried to charge me extra for the earlier pickup time, despite telling me they wouldn’t. Overall it just wasn’t a professional experience.

They wrote me up on my contract for 10 miles more than what was on the vehicle I asked them to change it they said they would do it when I return the car they had me come behind the counter to fill out the contract which was kind of awkward they also would not allow for the vehicle to be dropped off at night time on the premises I would have to walk two blocks

The truck was ordered at one location but changed to a shop that was poorly marked and was inside a 3rd rate water/convience store further from my house. Their system wouldnt let them complete the transaction on their computer so we had to do it on their cell phone. It took us almost an hour to rent this truck. Your website said the closer facility had the truck available. I wasn't please with its inaccuracy, but even more displeased with the location I was sent. As an inventorycontrol expert, I would be embarrassed by your system.

I did so much calling to get a hold of your Tarzan's location and no one picked up for three day nor did anyone return my call I had to change location to get the truck and the gas gauge was broken so we put triple the gas and the refused to refund us the extra money we paid at this location

As I arrived to the place to pick up my car via app the authentication process was a disaster and U-HAUL needs to do a better job here. But thanks to the super nice and caring couple working at the Water Store I was able to fix the issue. They were simply super customer oriented and helpful. Kudos to the both. I would be left there with no truck to move my stuff. Recommendation: you need to authenticate the driver before you confirm the rental. It’s simply not enough to have a chat and no reason for being declined. Terrible software and process..

I arrived to pick up a van I had reserved several days before, only to find that the guy working there didn't know how to work the U-haul system to process clients, and there was a car blocking the van I had reserved for rental. He tried reaching the owner, but after waiting a full hour, he was unable to do anything to get access to the van. By this point in time I called U-haul's dispatch to find out if they had other vans at other locations I could rent instead. I was routed to another location about 8 minutes away. After waiting in line 15 minutes, they mentioned the van I was told I could rent at that location had already been reserved by someone else. "I don't know why dispatch pulls this kind of s*** on us." the guy said. They told me I had to go to ANOTHER location about 10 minutes away and get a van there instead. Over 2 hours and 3 locations later, I finally had a van. Meanwhile I had friends who were waiting to help me move, delayed over 2 hours.... And U-haul's handling of it? 0.69 cents per mile charged instead of 0.79 cents. Basically $2 less than normal. That's not much of an apology for such bad customer service. Do yourself a favor. If you rent U-haul, rent only from the 'primary' u-haul locations. Or better, go with another company.

The van I rent is was very dirty inside and out side. It was requesting service at the board and the woman at the rental place said it was ok. I really needed and I took the risk .The place was kind of thrifty store with different items for sale. But for rent last minute it was ok. fulfill my necessity.

Whoever owns this business is shrewd and damaging uhauls name, the lady over charged me even though i had already refueled the truck when i returned it, during the period i had the truck she kept calling me exactly 2 hours after renting it she called me 5 Times she even went to the extent of sending me text messages i have proof of the text messages ,bullying me into returning the truck because other customers need it very wrong and unprofessional i was meant to rent the truck for the whole day then she calls and starts bullying me this is wrong on all grounds, uhaul please stop using this other small companies/shops to do your work

I reserved the truck online and then received a call telling me to pick up at another location way out of the way. This was after I talked to the person at the west lake location and she said they had the equipment and we were all good. The girl who called after I reserved the equipment said you need to pick it up at the other location, when I explained I talked to the location she just kept repeating pickup at the other location. I explained that I heard her and my question was why pick up at the other location when the location said they had the equipment? She then hung up. I called back and the person who answer sounded dis-interested and asked if I wanted to cancel. The customer service and experience was terrible, I will not use uhaul again. I plan to use this experience as a teaching experience of what bad looks like.

They charged me an additional 10miles when I only used the van for 2hours. They said they charge 10 miles extr for parking the van. Which I parked in the same place I got it. I didn't sign my contract thy says I would be charged extra. I am still infuriated. And will next time us someone othe that uhaul.

The truck was extremely dirty which was almost as bad as the location. The owner was extremely rude and disorganized. He couldn't find the truck keys so he was yelling at someone on the phone while I was waiting. Even when I was bringing the truck back early, he was extremely rude. He should not be in the service industry in any way. Will never recommend this location or the owner.
