After u-haul switched pick up location and having to drive 30 minutes further than planned, we pulled into lot and read and followed posted sign instructions to get ahold of a representative to assist us with our truck rental. . Receiving no response, we noticed someone working in the yard who looked up at us when we pulled in, but turned away and ignored our presence. My ride driver pulled around the yard to approach him to see who we needed to contact for assistance. Pulling around the yard slowly at idle speed, we passed a young child and we came to a complete stop when an unleashed dog ran in front of us. I rolled down my window to be greeted by this man verbally attacking us for not following the instructions to call him and accused us of hot rodding around the lot with children and dogs present. When I pointed out we did follow directions and he ignored us, he pulled his phone from his pocket and verified we had called. Another customer pulled into the yard and he went right over to them and helped hitch up a trailer, after which we were finally helped with the rental. I asked about the moving blankets I rented that I was assured in a conversation with a U-haul agent were at this location. He told me he didn’t carry them. Now, another trip to stop at another location to pick up the moving blankets we had rented. The woman at location 2 was quick and helpful and had me back on the road within 5 minutes. She was the only positive experience I had with U-haul. The gasket around the driver window was falling off. Because of this, the truck was noisy and I constantly had air blowing on me. I refit the gasket as best I could, but didn’t seem to fit properly. The interior was not as clean as it could have been, but tolerable. Off to a rocky start…

I was told that if I had the uhaul back by 11 a.m. I would not be charged 2 days ..well.it was back amd then the 3rd party charged me. I asked to look into it and never heard another word.

Cliff LAddress is wrong. Called multiple times and got no answer. One voicemail said “for quicker response text”, so I did. It is 11 hours later and still haven’t heard anything. It’s a mud lot on the side of the road that I had to search for. Absolute garbage customer service! And after O searched for a specific trailer, when I made my reservation it switched to a different trailer that I dod not want, but thats all they had and there was no ody to talk to to correct it, soI had to take the super heavy trailer I didnt want and burn twice the gas. Not impressed all around. Next time uhaul will be my absolute last resort
ryan bThe place I picked was not there. He did every thing on his phone. He never gave me a drop off place and the truck was covered in snow ,the mirrors were frozen over. I was given a VIP number from the "U-Haul reservation manager" then found out she did not have autherization to do so.Then I had to call some one else to get it. Then the VIP #was for 50.00 and then I was told later it was for 40.00.I even got the truck back 4 days early. Cleaned and fueled . I will not use U Haul again. PS. My invoice still is wrong.
