Just make sure all locations lobby is kept clean. Th 1 in Willits was not clean. I was a mess when you walk in.
Great service thank you
Always friendly service and helpful when needed. The moving service was also excellent and such a good idea!
Not charge me double what i was supposed to be charged, not be late giving me the keys and running down the time i had scheduled, not charging $84 when i only used it for a few hours when i was told it would be $40
I will never rent there again and I will let all my Community people around the area too I Gust the old white guy he doesn't like Asian people
I'm completely upset with my rental experience. The location screwed up on my reservation and then reported that I left the vehicle with less fuel than when I picked it up. I added more fuel then the level I received the vehicle. I was charged for fueling cost.
I had initially ordered a hand truck. When I went to pick them up I was told they didn't have any and I would need to drive some distance to get one. UNACCEPTABLE!! It would have been nice to know AHEAD of time or the hand truck delivered to me.
They did not tell me about gas. When I pick up unsullied the gas only One quarter tank and when I bring back have three quarter tank. If they would tell me I would save about $30 for the gas
Thank you the rental wasn't costly
The old man is cool!!!!
Brand new vehicle with 70 miles. Very friendly and efficient rental personnel. This is a neighborhood small business/store that also rents vehicles and I would highly recommend this location to help support the local economy.
Friendly Attentive Curtious Accomadating
Tim is friendly and always ready to help us with our truck rentals. Highly recommend!
Keep it just as it is.
I found the guys at the U-Haul rental on Elkhorn and 20 th extremely easy to deal with and friendly and very professional had an excellent experience
Great customer service
People were nice and friendly, but not as knowlegable as they should be. Also did not show me how to use the truck. (Lights, mirrors what type of gas, or explain the difference between "after hours and late fees).
very nice people there.
My only negative comment was that I ordered the trailer several weeks in advance for a convenient pick up location for me, I was moved 3 time s and to a location 25 miles from one way.
Returning the truck was not for from my home that made it less stressful for me. Before I would've had to go cross town. Thanks again, Mary O'Neal
The truck was dirty, it felt as if the transmission was slipping, and struggled to drive at times..
I was overcharged for equipment that I never received, the cab was dirty... I'm still waiting on a response to my complaint
Some of these comments apply to Uhaul in general, and others apply to this specific location. My experience with both were quite disappointing. Uhaul in general: I made a reservation 2 months in advance to rent a truck for an in town move. I received multiple emails and texts confirming and guaranteeing my reservation. 2 days before my move I got a phone call from U-haul informing me that my truck would not be available in the town I rented it in and I would have to pick up my truck at a location 30 minutes away. When I got that phone call I made it quite clear that I was unhappy. The best Uhaul could do was cover the mileage. I was extremely disappointed. Moving is no small task and the moving truck is a critical component. I was lucky that I had the flexibility to spend an extra hour on moving day to shuttle a truck back and forth. This location in particular: Pros: Open super early. Friendly and helpful staff. Cons: This location is primarily a small bait and tackle shop that seems to rent U-hauls on the side. When you walk in it's a big shop but most of the shelves have one or two items on them and the place reeks of stale cigarette smoke. I had reserved four or five packages of moving blankets. When I arrived and we looked at the reservation the staff informed me that they only had 1 pack of blankets. He was kind enough to comp them, but that didn't change the amount of furniture I was moving that needed padding. The truck itself ran fine but was pretty beat up and we spent a few minutes walking around adding damage stickers to pre-existing damage. There were a few places on the side where repairs had been made with what looked like duct tape. The exterior was also quite dirty although the interior was fine. Tl:dr U-haul in general makes promises and guarantees they don't deliver on, but they'll comp the extra miles if you complain. Elkhorn Outdoor sports has nice folks working there, but it's a bait and tackle shop first and U hauls are a side gig. I have no doubt they have the best fishing advice of any Uhaul rental in the area.
Charge the same amount to the customer as they are quoted when they reserve the equipment online. Do not switch locations of picking up equipment with checking if it's ok with the customer first. Make sure the vehicle is clean so customer can at least see out of the window in order to drive
