He had another customer come out to hook the trailer to my truck. We were flagged down by other drivers on the highway that our ramps were dragging. The pin to lock it in place was missing. We had to stay at a hotel overnight to wait for a store to open so we could purchase tethered straps to hold the ramp in place. This caused us to have an extra $175 in travel costs. I am very unhappy with the safety of this equipment and the location for pick up. It was dirty and in a very bad neighborhood. They had two dogs chained up outside the building at a used tire shop. It was a horrible experience. I would like to be reimbursed for my hotel stay as well as the cost of the straps we had to purchase. 1-309-269-3059. I can be reached at any time

I was overcharged for mileage. & when I went to return the uhaul they were closing over an hour early so I couldn’t check it in & had to leave the keys yet my account was charged instantly with the incorrect mileage

Over all the truck worked okay but it was dirty, and the place that I had to deal with the people weren't very friendly there. They made me feel like I was kind of putting them out asking for help

Equipment was not available at scheduled 9:00 am time on Sunday due to a quick rental on Saturday and the truck wasn't returned until 10:30 am! Employee did a fast sweep of truck & forgot to put in moving blankets, so owner had to follow thru w-employee. Cab smelled of heavy smoke & I had to drive with the windows down (It is really hard to breathe for people with sinus/asthma issues - U-haul should be paying me to sit & drive for 3 hours in an unhealthy environment)! The 3/8 marked for the fuel tank was actually at just above the 1/4 mark, so I filled it back to that level. The final billing reflects a charge for fuel. Owner was apologetic for the delay of truck & in the poor condition the truck was returned. No problems with truck driving home.

When I reserved I was told that I can pickup at a given location just to find out that I had to go somewhere else to get it. Annoying.

The first place canceled my appointment at the time of my appointment with no other options than to wait for 4 1/2 hours to get another truck! The place I finally found one never discussed mileage or insurance to witch he just charged me for then I went from paying 20 plus tax to 60 that’s a huge difference then the coustomer service made it like it was my fault and are trying to charge me 30 dollars in late fees about a fee I didn’t even know I had to pay!!!!! I will never be going to uhaul again

The biggest issue is the fact that I submitted through the website for a location in Moline, Illinois due to proximity to home and was ultimately given a location in Rock Island, Illinois. Due to this I am still being charged for the extra roughly 7 miles of mileage that resulted from the U-Haul selected location. The problem is not due to vehicles not available at the requested location as to get to my home I had to drive past the requested location and saw both a 15' and 17' truck parked both while picking up and dropping off the 15' I did rent.

The location is a very dirty tire shop. The truck was covered with grease stains and the cup holder was filthy. I do t believe they clean the units at all. The people are nice enough but I wouldn’t give them more than 2 stars for friendliness. I would not use them again.

Location was very sketchy. A rottweiler puppy was kept in a spare room adjacent to the office, and the entire office area smelled of urine.

I found 3 half smoked joints all over the vehicle and when returned was charged for 41 miles when I used 26

I reserved a truck a month well into advance, and they rented my ordered truck out. They refused to give me my ordered truck until i called and complained to the U-haul customer rep. I eventually got the truck that i ordered an hour and a half later and the Nico’s tires people were rude and disrespectful that i called the U-haul customer service. Because of this i had to call my moving help and push them back an hour from when i initially asked them to show up, which cut down on the time that i could get help. I originally booked the movers from 11 am to 1 pm, but wasn’t able to get my truck until 11:30ish which was an hour and a half later than when i was supposed to pick it up. So as a result i lost an hours worth of moving help and still got billed for the hour. Also this affected my drop off times for the the u-haul truck and my storage unit. I got to my storage unit with only 30 minutes to unload my truck before they closed, which was very stressful. As a result of all of the above, i will never use this service again or recommend it to anyone else. This was a complete nightmare.

First off I received an email stating for me to pick up my auto transport at a different location, why I'm not sure. When I arrive I'm told they do not have one for me it's rented for the next day to someone else so I explain and wait about 1hr to finally get the transport. Not a very professional uhaul dealer and hopefully will never have to return to that location. Extremely disappointed in my uhaul service.

This was an extremely poor location. My family felt threatened being at this location. Two men working inside the facility were asleep when we walked and one had an agressive dog with them. I will never use Uhaul again after this experience.
