Gerald BTruck had smoke smell inside
CAGDAS OThe Truck I rented was in very poor condition, gear shift was messed up, key got stuck in ignition intermittently and the truck needed a wheel alignment, the inside of the box truck was dusty not cleaned well.
TAHARKA MThere was no one at this location. All the check-in was done with the U-Haul app.This would have been ok if U-Haul would have advised before I arrived. I didn’t know where to park the truck to start with. I went inside the office and there were no instructions that I immediately saw. I was confused with the photo requests. The first photo request was for the interior of the cab for driver side cleanliness. The next photo asked for the driver side photo again, so I took the photo again. Then I realized the second photo should have been for the outside of the truck. I could not go back on the app to take the correct photo. I muddled through after I understood why all the photos were required. My suggestion to U-Haul is if a pickup or drop off location is not manned, please advise the renting person of what to expect at each location and what information is to be provided. Other than this, the rental was perfect.
