I surely can recommended to a friend. But with a well better maintenance on the truck. The brake pedal was very soft, it was hard the stop the truck the brake were very used. The suspension is very very hard. The ride was not very safe.

Alexandre CBy far THE WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE of my life ! Should have NEGATIVE SCORE for this location ... and I have rented cars and trucks in all parts of the world ! First when we I tried to pick up the truck at 16:00 hrs on Friday afternoon, the attendent said my reservation had been changed - no notice or information on this was ever received... then he found a truck but said we would have to return the truck the next day at 09:30 hrs, not even 24 hrs of rental time as per the reservation. We had to put air in one of the front tire since the pressure was very low and also had an issue with the ramp when we tried to stow it, we waisted 30 mins before it was stowed - and by then trafic was heavier so we returned the truck at 10:30 hrs. They then tried to charge us two days for much less than 24 hrs of usage. Then they were $6 more expensive in the miles to kilometers conversion charge, and then the gas charge using the very poor gauge form the truck versus the board chart in their office. Then, they did not provide us with a copy of the bill claiming various reasons -this is against the law- so NO not pleased at at - the experience was border line fraudulent. After working many years for Military and RCMP, I will warn my colleagues to think twice before using U-Haul and specifically that specific location.
