Clerk made my paperwork for local rental after I gave him the town and zip code of intended return. BIG problem to drop off equipment! My bad for not reading it carefully before signing, but, one would think....not going to dwell on it. 800GOUHAUL never took the line when I called at drop point. Bottom line, I'm glad it wasn't a dangerous situation as I was "on hold", more like "on ignore", for 35 minutes before just giving up and the receiving clerk said he would fix it and explain to U-Haul.

They were not open when we dropped off and the drop box wasn't locked so that was a little unsettling putting the keys in there and praying nobody took off with the truck, but it all worked out and the guy was super nice on the phone. He called the day before to make sure everything was satisfactory with the truck.

From the initial phone contact through the return and drop off of the trailer, this was by far the best rental transaction I have ever had. The U-Haul representative , Mark, was extremely helpful and professional in his follow up and customer service. We have 3 U- Haul locations in our town. I have dealt with one of the others in the past because I lived closer to them at that time. They also gave excellent service. In the future, when I have need for rental services again, I will check with this location first, as Mark was extremely helpful. He followed up with a phone call when my wife and daughter failed to show up on time to pick up the trailer to make sure they were alright and that nothing had happened. He provided a thorough instruction on the hook up on the trailer and even came out to disconnect it when we returned it.

The dealers for Uhaul need to be properly trained to use the uhaul system when checking out customers. The dealer also sell other things in his shop so I was ask to wait when I had a reservation to pick up the uhaul so I wouldn't delay my trip. It took the dealer two hours to complete the transaction plus I had to pay an extra $100 that I was promised to receive upon returning the uhaul. Now it been three days since the return of the uhaul and I haven't received a dime. Once I got the Uhaul and Dolly loaded and I drove about two miles and the tire on the dolly popped and I was riding on the highway on the rim. It was pouring down raining and I had my children with me stranded on a busy highway. I called uhaul it took 20 to 30 minutes to get technical support to answer the phone and when they did they advised me that it would be 90 minutes before a technician could come out to change the tire. I waited and hour before taking my children to a near by gas station in the rental car to get out the rain. After a hour goes by I received a call from uhaul stating that the technician canceled due to not having the right tire or rim for the auto transport. So Uhaul stated that it would be 90 or more minutes due to the new tech was coming from about 30 minutes away in traffic. After 3 and a half hours go by the tech comes and changes the tire and we were on our way. My trip was delayed a total of six hour behind Uhaul from the dealer to the equipment was a horrible experience. To top it off now Im having to fight and jump through more rooe just to get my deposit back. Im broke due to having to pay for an extra day on my rental car due to my trip being delayed. I ran off of money on this trip because I was quoted $313.00 for the truck and equipment but paid $537.00 in total for equipment that was not maintenance. So I put what money I had left i the gas tank of the uhaul and they still charged me $77.00 to put gas back in the uhaul plus Im still going back and fourth with them about refunding me something for ALL THE TROUBLE I ENDURED WITH MY KIDS ON THIS TRIP. I was told by a manager at a local uhaul store where it was returned that I would receive a call from someone about this whole situation and its been two days and I have yet to speak with anyone and this all seems so unprofessional and I feel I deserve a total refund for ALL THE TROUBLE IM STILL GOING THROUGH WITH UHAUL EVEN UPON RETURN OF MY HORRIBLE TRIP EXPERIENCE. I will be speaking with someone tomorrow about this situation and everyday until I get compensated for this terrible experience with uhaul. Ebony Benjamin 7/12/17

I only drove 5 miles, but he charged me for 18 miles. It's no way I can argue it because I dropped the key in the drop box and didn't have the employee check the mileage. I should had took a picture of my mileage, but oh well...

The back of the truck hadn't been swept and had grass all over and the cab looks like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time, but other than that it was acceptable.
