The person responsible for U-Haul was on a break but the guy from another country at the counter said he was not there and let. His English was very poor. We had to pick up the truck 1.5 hours away at the last minute and his attitude was non challant. I was very stressed that he was not responsible. Good thing the other guy showed up after that and was ok.

Calculate in KM and charge in KM instead. I drove 50km, calculated with my phone. The truck said I drove 50 MILES. Then they converted 50 miles into 79 km when I only drove 50km. Will not go there again.

Michel BLast rental last week, they tried to charge me double before I protested that it was not the advertised price. But they managed to sneak in a $20 ‘after hours fee’ that was not communicated to me when I rented. This week, rented the trailer again and was double charged for the rental despite returning it early. Had to call to have it reversed…and will wait a few days to be sure it goes through. I have the feeling that it wasn’t really a mistake- but more an attempt to overcharge. This location does not have good reviews and I understand. Based on 2 rentals from them in 2 weeks and 3 attempts at overcharging, it feels like a bit of a scam set up.
