The online website over booked trucks and the store didn’t have a truck for me. So they move my truck rental to a different town without asking me. Cost me more money in miles than it should have because of that.

Location was great. Issue was pickup was confirmed in havre de Grace Maryland about 8 miles from where loading then about 10 pm night before changed to this location about 60 miles out of was. Added 120 miles, fuel,, time and messed up arranged help. Looking for option for other companies as not best way to service paying customers. Location for pick up drop off were great just do not like changes after things confirmed and such short notice.

Reserved online and not many choices since it was a Sunday and needed dollys. Online I was able to order dollys then I get to the location and they don't have dollys. Called customer service and was put on hold for 10+ mins and hung up after it rang, called back and was transferred between reservations and scheduling 5 times before a lady was able to understand and help me and was extremely helpful. Got me the dollys and the 50 dollar reservation credit. Please make sure that if your able to order dollars online you can actually get them as I had to go way out of my way to get what I needed.

Very disappointed in the truck was old and beat up rattles everywhere...then they tried to charge me for gas and it was full ...person just turned the key rather then start the truck up (again a characteristic of the truck being old) overall very disappointed with uhaul

Did NOT have agreed upon equipment upon my arrival. When a customer ask for a certain location to pickup equipment and you don't have the equipment at that location and then you assign the customer another location to pickup the equipment from, then actually have the equipment at that location. I was suppose to rent a truck and tow dolly from (Dover, DE) however, the equipment would not be available at the location I initially requested. So I was assigned another location (Smyrna, DE) to go to and pickup the equipment that was 18 miles farther away from the originally requested pickup location. When I arrived at the new location they didn't have a tow dolly. So I called customer support and spent over an hour to have them search for a car dolly in the area and they sent me to another location (Elkton, MD) to retrieve a tow dolly that was over 20 miles away and taking me farther away from where I needed to use the truck. Upon arrival at this new location (Elkton, MD) for the tow dolly I was informed that their tow dolly was down for maintenance. So again I had to get on the phone with customer support and have them look for another location for a tow dolly. They found a auto transport that was in another state (Bridgton, NJ) and nearly 50 miles from my present location and yet again taking me farther away from where I needed to use the truck. keep in mind I'm having to use and pay for the gas just to run around and hopefully retrieve the equipment I was originally told would be at the reassigned location (Smyrna, DE). Thankfully the auto transport was at this location (Bridgeton, NJ) and I finally had the equipment that I was suppose to and by the time I finally made it to the location in which I was to use the truck (Dover, DE), I had wasted 5.5 hours just trying to get the equipment. That was 5.5 hours added to a day that ultimately ended up being a 24.5 hour day as I awoke at 7am in (Delaware) to start my day and didn't arrive at my destination in (Indiana) at 7:30am the next morning. While I was running around to finally get my auto transport I drove through a toll plaza and didn't have any cash on me and thought they would take a debit/credit card however, they don't take debit/credit cards and said that I would end up having a toll violation that the rental company would charge me for. I called U-HAUL to inform you guys of the situation and was told that you have an EZ PASS account and that you would inform me via either email or text when the toll charge comes in. I believe based on my wasted time and aggravation, U-HAUL should pay for my toll and any associated fees that come with it. The toll would only be for the truck because at the time I didn't have the auto transport. So I will definitely NOT recommend U-HAUL to anyone in the future.

1st truck, drivers door had a 1" gap at the top of the door when the door was closed. 2nd truck had the ABS light on and a low break pedal (the brakes worked OK)

We waited for 45 minutes as one women worked the registers and the older two gentlemen watched her. We asked somebody could help us and were told by the male employee to be patient and there were other U-Haul companies we could rent from if not. Poor management

No walkthrough was done by an employee prior to me picking up the trailer. when I got the trailer to the location i was loading it at and looked inside, the floor was covered in mud.

I rented a truck with a 3/4 full tank. I returned it with the line on the gauge right at or just slightly below the 3/4 line and I was charged a refueling fee. I ordered blankets online when I reserved the truck but didn’t actually receive them when I picked up the truck, then the store tried to charge me a replacement fee for them when I returned the truck.

Make sure the truck starts. It was freezing cold, we went into the store, and was taken care of immediately, got the key to the truck and walked across a very large parking lot in the cold to find that the truck wouldn't start. Walked all the way back into the store. They were very nice and gave us another key to another truck. Had to walk across the parking lot again. Doing all of this with my 6 year old daughter was not pleasant. I was very unsatisfied with that!

Made an online reservation for a late pick up and the code I was given for the pick up for keys was right but the people responsible for updating the code didn't do It an I waited 1 1/2 hour for someone to arrive and give me the keys
