This was a terrible experience. It took over an hour to get the truck, but it was not the solely the locations error. The system would not process the order and continually shut him out. He called his regional site which took over a 1/2 hour to answer his call and then referred him to the uhaul computer technical support where we had to go through the whole process again. This caused me to be late for the movers that we had being paid by the hour. Please note that 2 other customers were able to check out while my order could not be processed. This system error cost me money!!!! In addition to this the truck smelled of smoke which the operator told us there is nothing he can do about this.

The enclosed trailers need to have a jack system provided so that trailer can be unhooked from tow vehicle.

From the beginning of my rental process, it was terrible. We did the self service since it was the only option available for us. I did have a lady call to confirm my rental, not giving any instructions. Upon arriving to the rental area, I had no clue what to do. I had to call UHaul customer service to get instructions and a gate code, since nobody seemed it was important to give us this information. Finally after making 3 phone calls, someone was able to tell me that I needed to download the UHaul app and walked me through it. Still, during the process, the app kept giving me an error, 40 minutes later, we were able to get the Uhaul. Again, the same thing happened when trying to return it. No instructions given. This time I made 3 phone calls to Uhaul, app not working allowing me to check in our truck. First call, I was placed on hold for 10 minutes and nobody came back to the phone. Second call, a lady says "well they will know you dropped it off, there are cameras". That is complete crap. I knew that did not sound right so I called again for the third time, this time the lady was able to tell me what I needed to do- causing our rental to be checked in 30 minute late. Still through all of this, the UHaul app that I was instructed to download did not work. This was absolutely the worst experience I have had, the lack of communication and knowledge of the customer service was quite embarrassing. I am so disappointed in my services, and will NOT use this again. Completely ridiculous.
