The location is really good and helpful and I appreciate the support they provide, but the Uhaul equipment is showing it's age/lack of maintenance. The trailer I had rented had a serious wobble at 40km/h, both loaded and unloaded, resulting in the whole vehicle shaking. Fortunately I only needed the trailer in-town, so it wasn't too much of an issue, but I wouldn't want to anywhere near the highway or with equipment that has degraded as such. This isn't the first time I've had issues with equipment from Uhaul (from other locations too). I did inform the staff of the issue and they'd look into it, but the equipment shouldn't have ever been hired out in this condition. It's very dangerous.
Lorne WThe staff working barely spoke English and had no idea what she was doing, and even said so herself. Kept saying "Im new I dont know". There were 5 different groups of people waiting for their trucks and it took almost an hour for everyone to get them. She couldnt figure out the paperwork and where to put different information. The gas was also only half full and she was arguing with us giving us the keys saying "why isnt it 3/4 full like the website says?". Uhm, ma'am you tell us that lol. Anyways, we took photos of it to cover our buttocks, but overall she had no clue what she was doing. We also had a drop off location set close to us and she changed it without our permission to one that was a 40 minute drive away, and we paid more for km with that. Luckily when we called they adjusted it back to one nearby us. Very frustrating experience.
