You at U-Haul can upgrade your internet. We almost weren't able to rent this vehicle because of your website issues on Saturday, 7/25/26. I'm told by the location that this is a constant problem on Saturdays, and they've actually had to turn away rentals because your system is down. That is money out of your pocket, and to me, as a business owner, unacceptable. Please look into this and provide a better solution to this problem. This shouldn't be an issue for a huge company like U-Haul. That is my only complaint. The location was wonderful, and the employees were compassionate and just as frustrated as me. So they get 5 stars. You not so much.

the 10' box truck was excellent. However, the check out and check in were not so seamless. watching employees trying to navigate the system was painful. the most concerning was checking out when I could not get a bill total, and was told I'd get an email. I have never finalized any transaction without knowing the final total. A true value employee finally walked out with me to the vehicle to verify condition and fuel status before giving me my final bill.

Christopher DNice folks. However the checkout took a lot longer than expected and had to be redone due to an inaccurate entry at the store, and after I had already filled all the details from home. Not a huge deal but completely avoidable. The real problem is that the trailer turned out to have the left side missing one of the two axle hangers missing entirely and the remaining one ground to less than 1/8 inch thick. I do not know if the delivery location has to check the trailers' axles, or if somebdy else should have, but the fact is the trailer clearly had previously been dragging the axle on the ground and should have never left the lot in that condition. My family and I were in serious danger for a 1000 miles for something we could not have checked ourselves.
GABRIELE UThe local True Value is the classic neighborhood hardware store with personalized service where you are treated professionally, yet also as a neighbor/friend. The store personnel were exceptionally helpful arranging our rental, hooking up the trailer and offering advice on loading, etc. Highly recommended.
