I explicitly told the clerk that I only wanted to pay for the rental fee and did not want any insurance coverage. I even asked him for the total cost, and he quoted me $24.95. However, he has now billed me and added an extra $8 to the $24.95. Additionally, when I returned the trailer, there was no one at the shop, and I had to wait 45 minutes for someone to arrive. I have never had this kind of experience with U-Haul before.

Again, just a lot next to a business. No one around. Had to use the self return. If you’re not familiar with the process it can be impossible. There’s no way my Dad could handle this. Customer service is becoming a thing of the past. Very sad….

John SThe online rental did not specify the hitch type and did not allow me to use the lock that I purchased from U-Haul previously. This was very frustrating because I could not swap out the trailer at another location for the newer hitch latch mechanism. Ended up having to drive 15 hours straight because the r tree silver could not be locked. Very deceitful on the website where the reservation was made.
