I book the truck in Tracy Ca before the pick up day they tried to send me to Stockton which is 22 miles away from my home and I already had 24 hours I had to load it and unload it after spending 55 minutes on the telephone with operator first time I’ve been hanged up on and then I called again I was place on hold and she never return back. When I called for the third time then I was told that I can pick the truck at Tracy Ace I had the truck which has only 1/4 gas when I returned it. It had 1/2 tank gas U-Haul even charged me $2.34 for over miles. I was not very happy with service very poor well below average service. Next year I have to move again I will consider the competition. I hope some one will read this and other customers don’t have to go through this This survey is only ask you about the pick up and drop off the real issue is on the telephone. Regards Wais

We had trouble locating the drop box to leave the truck key. There was no signs of any drop box and no instructions was given to us on how to leave the keys. We saw a black box on the ground but wasn't sure what that was. It needed a code to open which we didn't have. I highly suggest to have a simple drop box keys like the other Uhaul places.

When i went to pick up the rental truck they had the wrong key in the lock box it was bad made me waste time I had to go pick up at a certain time and this took time away and made me an hour late plus the mileage and gas wasn't correct online the truck had different than what appeared online and it didn't let me entered the right picture everything closed down when I was trying to put the right picture in there don't recommend this at all I learned my lesson

Need some sort of signage for returns. Trucks and trailers are spread all over the property, very unorganized and confusing.

la van estaba muy sucia., los cristales muy sucio.... y olia muy mal por dentro .....no puedo creer que entreguen un equipo tan sucio. y dicen un precio y le cobran a uno otro $19.99 y temine pagando $ por 7 horas mal servicio preferio rentar en otro lado y tal vez en otra compania.

I had another location to go to pick up my truck, but after arriving at that Florin Road location the person told me that they don't have a 26' truck and that I had to go to the Mil station location to pick up my truck. He stated that customer service will be in contact with me. I got a call from customer service and the lady offered me a $50 off of my bill as well as 15 miles off of my trip as the pickup location was further than the one next to my home. After waiting several days for my credit card statements, the rate still shows $161.22. I'm very disappointed that no one from Uhaul took the time to fix this. I know stuff happens, but when you promise to make things right and you don't do it, it creates mistrust among the customers. I have been using Uhaul for over 20 years. Let's not get a divorce now over something so small.

I had to go to this location after a horrible experience with the 1190 S Main Street Manteca CA location where I had a reservation. At the 1190 Manteca location I waited for 40 minutes in line to pick up the truck, got to the front just to have the manager Bryan of the location deny me service. So there I am on moving day having made a reservation so I call customer service while at the store in front of the manager Bryan; I wait 20 -30 minutes on hold just to get disconnected so I had to call back wait another 25 minutes for a representative. This whole time Bryan was in front of me servicing other customers and not talking to the phone customer service representative when they where on the phone; yet when he was initially servicing me he helped me and another customer who was not even in the line I had waited 40 minutes in, at the same time. The 2nd phone representative got me to the call centers manager who said they could not get me a truck from the Manteca location and that the manager at this corporate location was in the right to refuse me service. Therefore she made another location reservation for me that I had to pay for a ride because obviously I was planning on driving the truck from there as I had a reservation. This phone center manager Shandra also said she could not compensate me for the inconvenience I had been put through due to Bryan’s interactions with me. So there I was having a phone manager tell me that this manager at this corporate location was valid in denying me service and yelling at me during our interaction. This sort of customer service from a 2 mangers, both telling me It was justified to treat a customer this way, has made me feel they represent the values of the U-haul brand. Which can deny service to someone within 3 minutes of interacting with that customer. Then ignore them for another 40 minutes and never apologize for yelling at the customer. I believe he did not have the inventory and instead of owing up to it decided to deny me service; as the first representative could not find the size truck I need at the Manteca location 20 minutes after my reservation time. Bryan the manager at the Manteca location, had canceled my reservation and I believe it was so he could dispatch the truck I had reserved.
