The staff in Trail was great and dealing with an awful situation. The staff in Trail made everything ok. UHAUL HEAD OFFICE: u suck. Your customer service is horrible. You don't just get to change the drop off location to another town 4 hours away and not only not tell the customer but expect the customer to be on the hook for the additional gas. What a shock to find out that when I was dropping off the truck in the place I had on my contract. Additionally to find out I would be charged hundreds of dollars to drop the truck off in the place on my contract is not OK.

Sean HWe were given what appeared to be the oldest u-haul on the lot for a 27 hour drive and it ended up having a tire that was completely bulging on the verge of a blowout and the tire looked like it was literally disintegrating when we pulled over due to feeling like something wasn’t right. This u-haul was not maintained and definitely not safe to drive. We could’ve died driving with this u-haul with the condition it was in. We couldn’t even go 50 mph due to the whole truck and u-haul bouncing and shaking then ended up having to get the tire replaced in the middle of nowhere and then that still didn’t fix it because there were more problems than just the tires so we ended up having to unpack and reload our entire u-haul into a new one with just 2 of us because we didn’t have the help we had to load it initially. The roadside assistance couldn’t believe that is the u-haul we were given. Very traumatic experience!!!! Wouldn’t recommend this place to literally anyone, it cost us so much extra time and money due to this. So unprofessional!
