I have already sent an email through the "Contact Us" section of your website. Here is what I had to say. Complaints: 1. The 6x12 box trailer DOES NOT have a built in jack stand on the tongue/trailer. If you have a trailer that weighs that much, put a dang crank stand on it! I wasn't notified that the trailer was going to be so difficult to pick up. This made getting the trailer ridiculous. Plus, you would think that someone at the rental location would help hook up the trailer. Nope, I picked it up at a furniture store. You know who works there? About 4 women. It took me almost 45 minutes to get the trailer hooked up to my truck after having to get the built in (crappy) jack out of my truck. Then jack up the trailer (while standing in the mud, because that is where they park the trailers) only to find out that the jack didn't go high enough. So, I look around this place to find a concrete block laying near their building. I finally get jacked up and hooked up, but it is a ridiculous process. Do you think the people inside ever even thought about asking if I needed some help? Nope. Thanks for that. 2. I got furniture pads also. Guess what? They let me leave without giving them to me! Remember I was in their parking lot/mud grass area for at least 45 minutes. Never once did they remember to bring them to me. I forgot also, but you know, I was sort of a little busy trying to figure out how the hell I am going to get the trailer attached with no help. 3. When I did remember the pads (as soon as I got to my house), I finally went back to get them. It took at least 30 minutes for them to get the pads. They were sort of folded up. Maybe. They told me they were still in another truck or something and that was why they couldn't find them. We stood around and talked to the furniture sales woman while we waited. At least she was nice. 4. On top of it all, I get charged an extra $8 for "damaged" pads. It did basically rain ALL weekend in our area. We did actually put them in a dryer and try to dry them best we could. They were still a little damp I guess. Thanks for the charge! It does say on my first WebBEST Receipt that "I understand that the equipment rented is water resistant and not water proof". Guess that only applies to the trailer, and it only applies to Uhaul's benefit. So, no jack; no assistance; no good feeling; and I get to pay extra for the whole experience! Thanks! Compliment: At least the Uhaul girl that works there was nice. No complaints with her personally. Just the whole process.

The day before rental my location for pick up was changed but it was handled well. I got a name for contact, great directions, and a call back to assure me that all was in order. The pick up spot was actually better since it was not in town and easy to navigate on low traffic road while getting use to how the truck handled.

First, I requested a Uhaul site on Beltline Rd. Decatur, Al.,was notified a change and to pick up at Ponderosa Furn. I couldn't pick up until 10AM, good I called since I wanted truck at 8, arrived there and nobody there until around 10:30 Very bad business. I think I should be refunded some money, my time is important as well.

When I made the reservation online, the price I was given was $254.00 for the truck rental, and $28.00 for the Safemove insurance. My son went to pick up the truck, and when he brought me the receipt, I was charged $320.00 for the truck rental and $42.00 for Savemove. Can someone please contact me? Thanks.

Someone who had rented the truck before me barfed in it. The steering wheel and dashboard were clean, but there was barf on the ceiling and windshield. The previous owner of the vomit apparently had dined upon shredded beef and cola before expelling the contents of his stomach onto the driver's side of the truck in an upward arc. Standing outside the truck and inspecting it from the ground on the driver's side before operating the truck, the puke was not visible. However, once I sat behind the wheel and got over my initial nervousness about driving something half the size of a Greyhound bus, at a red light I felt relaxed enough to lean my head back onto the headrest. This is when I noticed the regurgitated beef and soda. I understand what the previous driver must have been feeling, but I do wish that that person had had the decency to clean up all of their puke since they at least saw fit to wipe the steering wheel, dash panel, and the windshield in their direct line of vision. The lady helping me with my rental, however, was very friendly and thorough.

The truck we rented got approximately 6-7 miles to the gallon, I was very dissappointed in this. Even though I was towing an auto transport I expected to get at least 10-12 miles to the gallon. I spent around $200, it is difficult to recommend the trucks for renting

I am very upset that U-Haul sent me to a location 33 miles from my home for this rental. That was outrageous! The young lady who rented me the equipment was wonderful and a real pleasure but NOT so great as to justify YOU sending me 33 miles to pick it up and drop it off. You offered NO discount for the long distance to pick it up or ANY explanation of WHY you set it up so far away. Next time, and I rent 2-3 times a year, I will find someone to rent from who is more considerate of my time and driving expense.
