Agent seems to be obligated to help me return my rental truck. She was very abrupt with her responses and made me feel as if my rental return was a burden.

I requested a pick up in Santa Barbara. It kicked me over to pick up in Ventura then they want to charge me mileage to and from my original destination. Your company values are trash because of that. I had a blow fuse for a trailer at another location and instead of checking the box you tried to upscale me New cables thus forcing me to get a truck. So if you can go with another company one who isn’t going to try and rip you for every penny with poor customer service
Martinez SThere was confusion about the pickup location and we had to change it and drive further to pick up our vehicle. As a result, a new reservation and contact were issued but we were not given a new price. It was fortunately resolved and they gave us a discount bringing the price close to the original, but it was disappointing that we were not given the original price quoted.
james cI don’t know if it’s this location or UHaul in general. I reserved a 15ft truck near my home 5 days ahead of time. I thought everything was fine. Then, 2 days before the move date, I’m told I can only have a 10 ft truck, and I have to drive 30 miles away to pick it up. I’m stuck. I cannot move everything I need to, but I have enough stuff organized for the date of the rental that I need to accept. So I get up at 6:00 am on the appropriately day and drive the half hour to get the truck. When I pick it up, not only are there no blankets, which I ordered, but the truck is on completely empty. I’m told to drive to a different location to pick up the blankets, and that I can return the truck on empty. I’m now 30 minutes behind, and out $20 for gas. I don’t rent trucks very often. Next time, I will certainly look for a different option.
