I believe the trucks should be cleaned of any garbage or pet hair once returned. My rental was full of pet hair and I'm asthmatic and allergic to pet hair. Horrible feeling.

The vehicle was in poor running quality. It was difficult to start, the emergency brake would not disengage and the steering was loose. I was particularly annoyed of the over charge fee on the gasoline. I was told it was full and I needed to refuel. I needed to add 20 gallons of gasoline for a 62 mile trip! That is 3 mpg! Seeing that your vehicle is listed as 10 mpg, I was charged 3 times the amount for this. It is obvious that the gas was not full, like it stated, but since the gas gauge was not working, I was overcharged on the gas. I would like to be reimbursed for the gas that I paid for by the previous renter. At 10 mpg a 62 mile trip should have used 6 gallons. I added an extra 14 gallons at 2.19 a gallon or $30.66.

The girl at the desk was not helpful when I explain that I was given the wrong place. All she said was they lied to you. She wouldn't even call the location for me to verify that they told me the wrong price. I will be using budget from now on unless someone can give me a call to credit me for the .11 more I was charged

Hire more people. I was in a bit of a rush and it there were only 2 workers in Meriden location and there was a line. When I went to Waterbury the same deal.

Provide a higher level of customer service. I was told I would get an email receipt of my bill because this location did not have a printer. I asked for a hand written receipt and was told this location had no such thing available. The manager owner as his badge stated waved a blank piece of paper out of his printer and said what did I expect him to do write something on that. My biggest concern is that I helped a homeless veteran move and he really has to have a paper trail for what's being spent on his move. I was never even told when the printer would be fixed. That way I would be able to return and get my copy of the bill. I also did not get the email that was promised. I had to call customer service for it. Also my domestic partner had to return to the location to have the same email sent. I should not have to go home and print my receipt from an email . I should be given proof of my payment at the time of my service. I should not have to go away and call customer service to get help. The local uhaul should have something on site to accommodate a customer request for a receipt of service. Also uhaul should be able to give a hand written copy of a bill on site. At the very least a call to another location to get the customer her printed copy of her bill. The on location manager did not even offer to mail a copy when his printer was fixed. In closing I was wondering what would have happened if I did not have my receipt in the vehicle while I was driving if I had been stopped by law enforcement to show I had rented it legally. I never received a rental contract to keep in the vehicle or on me to show the proof that is required by law.
