I had 3 issues with my experience at U-Haul. 1. The gas tank was at 7/8 full. If I didn't look I would have been out the money to fill it up all the way. 2. We had to park in a garage that was leaking lime. It took me 2 hours on Saturday to clean it off my car. 3. We had the car until 3:00. The U-Haul person texted me to see if I could have it back by 2:00 because she had another person who wanted to rent the van. I busted my butt to get the van back by 2:00. When I asked for a discount she texted back Ha Ha nice try. I would appreciate some compensation for this frustrating and unpleasant experience. If you need to call me my number is 440-655-8201. Kris was wonderful. The van was perfect, easy to drive. Got a Dollie but it wasn’t necessary. I had no problem putting packages and furniture in. The side door step was very helpful. I parked in security in the underground area, and did have some lime . Came right off with dawn dish soap. Thanks for everything.

I was overcharged 7 miles I took the van with 2887 miles. But paperwork was written up that I took it with 2880. Find it kind of odd also took a lot more to fill the gas tank because of it.

Van hadn’t been cleaned after last rental - dirty inside. Not the fault of Westlake Infdor Storage, but extended construction means limited access to the area.

The app was very sluggish and was frustrating to use. Rep did not respond quickly and did not appreciate when she asked me to remove articles of clothing and multiple pictures. I am shy in nature and asking this of me made me uncomfortable. I feel like I wouldn't have been subjected to this strange experience if I I had checked in at the desk in person. App needs some work and sensitivity training.

The cargo van sucked up way to much gas. I am so glad I only went 23 miles. When I hit the gas because traffic was coming I could see the gas needle go down. So I tried it again same thing. I would not recommend this vhicale to anyone.

You can’t change the location, which is dark and dank. The van had something dripped onto it but the inside was pretty clean.

I stop at U Haul Detroit Rd Avon location the front desk so nice she don’t have the Van I want she check and reserved at Detroit Rd ,Westlake location for me ,I don’t know Westlake location because no sign except the sign to sale the box,the lady so nice .

The area is underground and dark. It should be lighted better.

Impossible to find. We had to go into the drug mart to locate the place. I had to call someone once we arrived to get the process started. We lost an hour of our rental time dealing with all of this.

It is a dark hidden location. There were huge stains on the van. Something from the building had leaked on the van and dripped down. I had the van back and then received an email and phone call stating it was not returned.

Correct the issues listed below: *The U-Haul office was supposed to be open at 10 a.m. so that I could physically close out the paperwork. No one was there at that time. *The final receipt (I received via email) was higher than what I initially paid. *Truck was dirty inside and out. Ugly grey streaks covered the van. The reason for the steaks was that water leaches through the concrete ceiling during rainstorms and deposits the streaks of concrete. I actually had to use a razor blade to scrape the streaks from the windshield as soap and water was ineffective. *Personal papers from a previous renter was left in the van.
