I didn't like the no attendant self service approach. I was standing in the cold rain taking pictures, unlocking keys and working like an unpaid uhaul employer. I couldn't imagine how worst that will be in the winter with deep snow and freezing temperatures. I wouldn't do that.
David MDropping a truck off after hours in the rain was an extreme challenge. The mobile phone service was a poor fit to do an online return and there was not clear direction where to park the truck. Returning the truck took significantly longer with no shelter available to perform the online return process. There was also not enough space to gather all of the required photos.
