The location I booked my pickup for was changed by Uhaul a few days before the pickup date which made it inconvenient. The alternate location was not in a very good neighborhood it was on the border of Camden, NJ. The location was also an Xpress Food mart so as the person was helping me he kept stopping to sell lottery tickets or cigarettes which made me late to meet people who were helping me with my move. The truck was dirty inside and banged up on the outside a bit. The truck only had 3/8 of gas when I started. The gas gauge did not match what was on my paperwork but I knew if I went back in the store to have it adjusted this would delay me even more. Upon return I put $20 gas in the truck but the guy said it wasn’t enough to match what was in there to start and charged me $26 more. He said I would have had to complain before I left and I said I couldn’t waste anymore time. He did NOT offer any solution and handed me a receipt and said complain to Uhaul. I also struggled to understand his strong accent. Again none of this would have happened if I was permitted to go to the actual Uhaul in Somerdale nj that I selected. That’s why I don’t choose the non Uhaul locations. I don’t think I will be able to use or recommend Uhaul again which is a shame because I have rented from you many times. My cost was $168 for 5.5 hours. Disappointed

People were nice. The cabin of the truck was filthy - cotton swabs on the floor, used tissues in the cup holders, and the seats were torn. The floor was very dirty.
Joseph CI went to drop off the U-Haul at the predestinated location and the place was busy. I showed up at 10:01AM and was unable to complete the drop off until 10:42AM because there were six-seven people ahead of me. I was charged a fee for a whole other day for this.i hope everyone working for U-Haul gets cancer.
David OThe representative at the store was very aggressive and racist. He didn’t want me to complete my reservation online. He demanded my ID and Credit card and had issues when I told him the reservation was cheaper online.
