I was having issues with the UHaul app at drop off. I didn't catch his name, but the gentleman working there on 4.4.26 around 3:45 p.m. assisted me with the check in. He himself was having issues with the UHaul system. I don't know what I would have done to return the truck without incurring an extra charge because the UHaul app would not recognize location although I was in the proper place. There is often no substitute for human interaction in business transactions.

JASON UThere was confusion when picking up the truck. I had called the location to reserve it and told them I would come at 8am the following Saturday to pick it up. When we got there, the employees acted like I should have completed some kind of process online to pick up the truck, but they never mentioned that during our phone call. Our checking account was double charged for the truck, once for the "estimate" and once for the actual amount. When I called to inquire about that, the guy was dismissive and kept repeating "oh yeah, that'll come off - it just takes a couple days". A couple days that I was unable to access the $260 soft hold amount in my checking account in addition to the $180 final charge. I certainly understand putting a soft hold when reserving, but I feel that soft hold should be removed before the final amount is charged. The truck itself was great (ready for us when we arrived, clean, and in good working order), but I won't rent from this location again.
